Very disappointed. The staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. The car sold was a complete lemon but passed off as having lots of updates and work done. Records were provided with the work done and I took that as fact.
The first week having the vehicle the following happened:
• The brakes and rotors (all 4) had to be replaced. They were down past the red line and I was told “the car should not be driven.”
• The EVAP valve had to be replaced.
• the transfer case was leaking and seal broken (this was said to have been fixed and invoices given to show it being fix which was not true.)
• The vehicle is a 2006 but the rear end of the vehicle is form a 2010. CarFax had no damage report but the vehicle basically was pieced together with other car parts.
• the check engine light came on after 2 days
• the tire pressure monitor light came on after one week.
• holes were drilled on the fairing and frame on the top of the vehicle.
I did bring this to the attention of the dealership with no assistance. I was advised by a lawyer how to proceed but their fees and time just weren’t worth it.
Buyer beware. At the VERY least - Silver State does not perform valid inspections of their vehicles before sale. Being a respected dealship within a small community I expected more from them. You live and learn I suppose.

I have bought a lot of vehicles in my life from a lot of different car dealers. I have to say that I was very impressed with this dealership. I flew into town to pickup a vehicle and after signing the "as is" paper work and driving off it had an unexpected problem. I called the dealership and they drove out to pick me up and told me right away that they would refund the money I paid because they were unaware that the vehicle had an issue.
I was looking for a vehicle to tow behind our motor home . He suggested another vehicle on his lot. We ended up buying it and could not be happier! I highly recommend this ethical dealer.

I drove up from Greenville to take a look at a car. I ended up passing on the car, but I had a good enough experience that I felt compelled to write a review. Low pressure environment and they seem genuinely interested in making sure you get the right car for you.

Get the car checked out by a mechanic before you purchase. I had a great experience with them actually buying the car, and I actually really like the car...but in the nearly 3 months I've had it, I've driven it maybe 2 weeks. Initially I had a problem the weekend I brought it home, and they offered to pay for 1/4 of it...which was decent considering there was no warranty, but I should've just brought it back. Fluid was leaking from 3 different locations which I didn't spot until it was too late. Now I am over $6k in repairs with more on the way. Wish they had gone through the car better before selling it, and definitely wish I had it checked out with a third party before bringing it home, I never would've bought it.

Nothing bad I can say about this dealership or the car salesman Justin. This by far has been the best car purchasing experience I ever had. First, I live in SC and the dealership is in NC. Justin held the Ford Edge for me until I got there on the weekend to test drive it and view it. Not only did I buy the Edge, my mother also purchased a vehicle herself! He waited for us to come back to NC on the following Monday to pick up the car she purchased the previous Saturday. Not only do I give this dealership 5 stars, I would 100% recommend anybody to visit this dealership if you are looking for a good, used, reliable, and top shape used vehicle. Thank you Justin for a very pleasant experience at Silver State!
