Ingles Markets offers a great café with Asian inspired dishes priced $6 to $6.99, better food and better price than a fast food chain restaurant. The supermarket is one of the best places you can shop, with competitive prices and a great selection. However, the store has few organic and gluten‑free foods. One shopper noted that Hippeas chickpea snacks were marked organic, but the label shows they are not. The deli aisle is being renovated (May ’24) and the wine selection is respectable for a regional grocery store. The Mills River store is amazing, clean, and has top‑shelf grocery selection. Some shoppers are disappointed by a crowded remodel and fewer items, but they still enjoy pizza, subs, hot and cold food bars, Chinese food, soups, salads, and sushi.
