Avoid this place if can, they will harass you, show up to your house, and call all your contacts even after you've made arrangements to make a payment directly with the manager. I received a call on Friday at 12:13 it rang once, they left no massage and then immediately went to call every person I had listed as a contact. Mind you all these for $30 bucks management must be hurting for money when they go to these extremes to harass their clients. Will be filling a complaint with the BBB and with the other local authorities over this type of harassment. I voiced my concerns with manager Shaniqua D. and rather than apology she went on to defend their harassing practices.

The absolute worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced. The Mebane store has the most unprofessional individuals working there and while I was in a bind when I used them, if I am ever in another bind I will NEVER use RAC again in life.

I got a call from District Joe today from Rent a Center about my concern and issue. They handled my issue as they would by honoring with what they say they would do. I know no business likes to receive a negative review however customer service is always number one. All I can say I was heard and my issue was resolved. Thank you and hopefully these issues won’t happen again to anyone.

Harassing phone calls getting me to pay my account when I told them 3 days before that that I needed more time due to a family emergency that depleted my funds.

I told them I couldn't afford to keep their furniture and was told for 3 days they were gonna pick it up and they have yet to do it if I was late on a payment they would have came to get it for sure

Spoke with shey today from Hillsborough and he was so rude. I was asking for a follow up and he was like yes I dont know what I am talking about. I asked if it was rent a center and he said yes this is rent a center but I still dont know what you are talking about. I provided the address and still say the same thing until I provided him the name of our tenant. He said yeah is this for hillsborough and mention we do not search the request by address.His tone was very rude. He could have at lease mentioned or ask the name from the start and not say I dont know what you are talking about.. What a customer service he has...

ARE NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE FRIENDLY AT ALL....ONE DAY LATE AND THEY ARE CALLING THREATENING TO TAKE YOUR ITEM AWAY. A DAY?? REALLY?? TO BE HONEST, ITS NOT LIKE JOHN WAS FRIENDLY WHEN I GOT THE ITEM...I RENTED FROM ALAMANCE RD A BUNK BED SET FOUR YEARS AGO AND IT TOOK TWO YEARS TO PAY OFF...NICE AND THOUGHT I HAD A PLEASANY EXPERIENCE ILL TRY AGAIN FOR SOMETHING NEW FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD SON....I FINALLY WILL HAVE IT PAID OFF NEXT WEEK BUT, JOHN IS THE RUDEST MANAGER I EVER ENCOUNTERED. IF I DO EVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN, IT WONT BE MEBANE. HES THE ONE THAT CALLED ME....HES THE ONE THAT SAID "WE HAVE A SALE AND WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO TAKE THIS OPPURTUNITY TO ACT ON IT." I THOUGHT, OK I WILL...THEN AFTER FIRST WEEK I REGRETTED. TO HAVE SOMEONE HARASS YOU ALL DAY...I WAS AT WORK. I COULD NOT ANSWER. I WORK UNTIL 8PM. I CALL THE NEXT DAY AND MAKE MY PAYMENT.. A DAY LATE. THEN YOU ARE GOING TO THREATEN TO NOT TAKE THE PAYMENT. YOU BASICALLY STATED YOU DID NOT HAVE TO. SO YOUR BUSINESS IS LET PEOPLE GET CLOSE TO PAYING OFF AND WHEN THEY ARE A DAY OR TWO LATE, REFUSE PAYMENT? SO YOU CAN GET BACK AND DOUBLE PROFIT?? AS OF RIGHT NOW I AM LOOKING TO SEE WHO THE DISTRICT MANAGER IS FOR THESE RENT A CENTERS...HES MANAGER, BUT I KNOW HE HAS A BOSS.

Bought a mattress from here! Mattress was great but over priced as expected. Store employees didn't call me back to tell me a drop off time even after I called twice to ask and was told they would call me right back. The employees that dropped the mattress off were nice and respectful! Hope for better service from now on.

Yes, some of the furniture is used and you can tell. However, this is rental furniture, what do you expect? I have had a great experience renting from the Mebane location and the furniture I have gotten has been great! Its always clean and looks awesome.
