“I'd like to give a thsnks to the team in Matthews and especially, Caleb for the great service and compassion given to me and the lady i brought into their store yesterday who was having an extremely rough day topped off by a ruptured rear truck tire that disabled her truck in front of my home. You guys were absolutely amazing to us! You quickly assessed and got the right tire and showed alot of empathy to her. She was most grateful! It was a very positive experience and i will definitely be making your store my preferred tire store and recommending the same to all those i know. Well done!”
“I use this place for general maintenance on my two cars. They are prompt and have been honest and fair with me for several years. One of the things I get twitchy about is when car maintenance places try to sell you extra stuff (wiper blades, etc) when you don’t really need them. They have never done this to me. I strongly recommend this place.
Edited to add: A few years back a family member was visiting from far away and had some strange noises from his brakes while traveling to us. The noises had stopped, but Mavis checked his car for him as a courtesy and found nothing wrong. The problem never came back, but my family member felt much more confident driving home after they checked it out for him.”

“Have purchased tires from Discount Tire for years now, originally shortly after they opened. Great selection of tires and can order tires as long as they're available from other stores or their distributors (my last tires I ordered were ordered from their site, and this store was out of stock, so they found some other Discount Tire shop to ship the tires to them via UPS... store was willing to give me a deal on something they wouldn't have to ship, instead, but I wanted the specific tires and they didn't give me issues when I declined their alternate option).
Their tire certificate/warranty add-on is priced reasonably & is extremely easy to use. I've had un-patchable sidewall damage 3 times (nail close to the edge, sidewall tear, and sidewall blowout), and it's always been a seamless process to get the tire replaced under the tire certificate warranty.
To top it off, they offer free flat repairs. I've been there twice in the last 2 weekends to have them take care of a screw in my tires (2 different cars), and even though no appointments were available on their site, getting there at opening and getting on their schedule resulted in free flat repairs within about an hour of drop-off.
Great staff, great prices, and great customer-first policies. I'll undoubtedly continue to get my tires here in the future.”
