I'm not sure what happened to this credit union. It took me weeks and hours on the phone to get service. No one will help. I'm on the phone now closing an account I had since I was in High School. I'm almost 62 now. 23 mins and continuing to hold. The guy tells me he is literally the only one at the phone center and is typing my letter to close my account and I have to hold. What has become of our banking and credit union system in this country? Is this credit union in financial trouble? What the heck happened??

Used to be a good bank. Lately they've been disappointing me. Rates are still good, but the customer service seems to have lost the human aspect to things and they still don't offer phone payments for anything. I do not appreciate the "we tried" mentality this bank has adopted over the past few years. When these accounts are done, THEY are done!

Don’t use the atm at this branch! It takes your money and doesn’t give it back or go into your account. When you file a dispute, it takes any where from 1-10 days for the money to get back into your account. If you have immediate plans for your money, DO NOT DEPOSIT INTO THIS ATM! Member services can not help you on the weekends. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been a member. Atm Technician only work Monday - Friday. This has happen twice this week. Their option for me was to take out a loan on my own money! SMH absolutely ridiculous. Will probably be changing banks asap! Regardless of how long I’ve been a member!

In May, or even a couple months ago I would have given 5 stars. They've helped us get our home loan, car loans and so much more to help us. However, I highly recommended them to my parents to help them get a home here from WI so they can finally spend time with their 1 year old granddaughter. They were pre-approved, found their dream house and got their offer accepted - then the bank turned it sour. Someone we've never met or heard of, Sonya, took on their home loan and was 1. Extremely rude to them, 2. Made mistakes on the papers to sign and when made aware of it just told them to sign anyway and she'll fix it later they were just delaying closing. 3. Didn't listen to them about moving here from out of state causing their approval to be void and not take responsibility for being told this and ruining their chances of getting their dream home.They literally ruined our whole family's Christmas and all they got was a "sorry". I am highly disappointed in how everything was handled, in the hire of this incompetent, rude woman, and feel so guilty for recommending them so highly when they had other options and possibly could have been moving in in a couple weeks!!Again, before this we always had such great experiences here. But this has put such a bad taste in my mouth, please if looking into buying a home, or anything IMPORTANT. Do not talk to Sonya, you'll just be disappointed and heartbroken. I am not one to post something like this, but this has just broken me this holiday season..Merry Christmas.

Great experience getting a car loan and great rates however, in today's times unless one has a bank account with them the State Employees Credit Union does not offer any way to pay a loan except to send a check by mail, go to a branch and pay in person or have automatic draft. That is absolutely rediculous! Will not even take a payment over the phone! It's time for our credit union to catch up to current times. Why not accept payments online or from another bank electronically?This is the reason for the 2 stars.

I can’t put into words how disappointed I am to have had the experience I had today with this branch. The personnel we’re so unhelpful and hostile, clearly the two people I met with to set up my account were unhappy to be there, and seemed annoyed that I came in for help. Would not recommend this branch to anyone, and for the people who were rude I hope you find a profession you enjoy in the future.

Not like any other branch IV ever went to. I saw they had a rental house for rent I inquired about the property and was told there's a few application's already waiting. One whole month and a half later I go into the branch and see the same house is still available I filled out an application for a house never received feed back about my application but saw they ran my credit the day I handed the application in. I called them back a week later the lady said they had application's on file. Called back 10 minutes later to give them my name and let them know I already filled out the application and she said it was rented out. So what is it rented out or not. Then she told me the guy that handles the property is not there..so unprofessional. I just received a call from Marty and she said it was rented out already to. Just wish I would of knew this branch moves like that. I would of never wasted my time. Now I have another hard inquirie for nothing when they obviously didn't want to rent the house to me!

Worst branch ever. Never heard someone tell a member to Google how to establish credit! If a member ask you for help. It’s your job to assist. There is never a miscommunication on Google! our family has been with credit union for generations and this branch is horrible!
