I went into the commercial paint store today (6/1/2024) to purchase paint that my builder had used on the walls and trim, of our new construction home. This was my second time in the store, the first time was a great experience however this time was not. When I approached the counter I provided the staff member with the paint information provided by the builder, which I had used in my previous visit to obtain the paint needed. The young woman who I was working with on this occasion was incredibly rude, and treated me as though I was an inconvenience to her because I did not know the answers to her additional questions around the paint that was needed. Although I used the same information to obtain my paint as on the prior occasion, she replied:
“I can’t give you the paint because you don’t know the answers to my questions, what I’m asking you are easy questions, I’m not sure why you cant answer it.”
Instead of clarifying the information needed, she made the experience incredibly awkward. Because of this experience, I said “thank you” and simply walked out.
Very disappointed with this experience, however I believe this was a “one off” experience with this individual.
