My experience was so awful, it makes me question ever purchasing a Toyota car again. My service technician, Julie, sold me the wrong part for my car, which was expensive. When I questioned the part purchase, I was made to feel bad for even asking questions. Her demeanor was always condescending and rude even before she made a mistake. Speaking with the managers didn't resolve the problem either. They seemed clueless about the state my car was in, what repairs it required, etc. It was as if they didn't have records of my repairs at all. Unless you want poor customer service, DO NOT let this Toyota location touch your car.

We've been using Scott Clark Toyota for approximately eight years and have seen the decline in customer service and in car care service. Car went in for service at 160k miles for maintenance with a complaint of hesitation. After waiting approximately 3 hours was told there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Brought the vehicle back today at 166k miles for maintenance and brakes with the same complaint. Waited 2 hours to be told vehicle had not been worked on, however they recommended a new transmission for the problem they supposedly could not find at 160k miles (for which they charged me $99 to "diagnose"). With a bill of over $900, the fact that this hesitation was virtually ignored the first time and the decline in customer/car care service, we will not be returning to Scott Clark Toyota and will not recommend them.

the worst dealer ever!!! my experience with William was nothing less then horrific!!! i had spoken to him several times regarding a vehicle, made a deal and was on route to purchase it. he literally sold it out from underneath me. buyer bewear... don't do business with this shady dealership. i asked for the general manager to call me and instead William called me back and hung up on me. definitely not a professional way to due business!!! i would not recommend - don't waste your time - i would give a negative five... this is action is probally one of the reasons why Scott Clark Toyota only has a two star rating!!!

I have bought quite a few cars (8) in the last 10 years between my wife and three children who are now in their 20s. The experience at Scott Clark Honda and Scott Clark Toyota was superior to other dealers in the South Charlotte / Rock Hill area. It was worth the drive to Matthews... well run dealership.

I scheduled an appointment 3 days in advanced for a multi point inspection and an oil change. i waited for 3 and a half hours total. Both issues Im having with my car I brought up and explained with detail what was happening. They forgot to do my oil change, and told me there was nothing wrong with my car. One of my headlights burns through bulbs in 3 days and gets so hot the glass explodes. I use the same bulbs in both headlights and the other one has never had a problem. they had the nerve to tell me it was not an electrical issue and i should try a factory bulb. So I was there for almost 4 hours and they did zero work on my car.

I had a distinct feeling from the beginning that this dealership had questionable ethics; after doing research and dealing with their sales department my suspicions were confirmed. Mike Delaney is an unapologetic scammer. Sales manager utilizes unprofessional "put you in a head lock" methods when trying to close a deal. Everyone should not only check out Yelp reviews (1.5 stars out of 5), but they have multiple complaints with the BBB (including one in which the tried to blatantly steal a customer's $300 down payment!??). So glad I bought my Rav4 at Rock Hill Toyota. Far, far better dealership!

We bought a used 4Runner from Scott Clark and they've been super helpful in getting some small things corrected from when we purchased the car. They even provided a rental on this last issue since it'll take a couple days. Great place with greats sales and service

I had a great experience at Scott Toyota two weeks ago. Was I looking to purchase a car and leave that day in one? Yes and no. Yes, I was looking to purchase a car but I didn't know that I would be leaving in one that day. Can I say that Jaime was awesome. I am so thankful that he took care of me. I didn't feel that I was being taken advantage of because I am a female. They had so many cars to choose from on their lot. He got my car I was looking at and pulled it to the front. We took a test drive and he explained all the features. I was able to buy the car that day. Konner took really good care of me and was patient. Its the most expensive car I have ever bought so it made me really nervous. After a few days of having the car, Jaime gave me a courtesy call just to check in with me. That was really nice.

I highly recommend Marshall Moore in service. Not only is he professional, he is friendly and patient. I had an entire list for a 90k service that he kindly took the time to go through with me and educate me on my vehicle. He did not hassle me or make up non-existent issues as other Toyota service representatives in the past have with me. He stayed within my budget and kept in communication with me about the progress of my vehicle- as I chose to wait there. He is responsive and quick to reply with phone calls, as well. I appreciate the experience I had here. Easy & smooth. I'm surprised at the negative reviews I had read before coming here, it made me nervous to take my car here. I was in the lobby for around four to five hours (as expected) and I was never hassled by salesmen or anything of that nature. I will continue to go here for my vehicle. Thank you !

Today I called Scott Clark Toyota and spoke to Eric Manning. I had located the vehicle I wanted on line and knew that it was not expected to arrive at the dealership for two months. I pointedly asked, "What can I do to secure this vehicle?" Eric told me, "If you come in today, I will give you the BEST price so that you can secure the vehicle". I made sure he knew that I would have to drive 65 miles, EACH way. He was clear and ready to earn a sale. Upon arrival, Eric Manning let me know that not only would they not even appraise the very vehicle I would be trading (that he told me to drive down so they could "look at it"), but that there would be a $1000 deposit, and a $9,995.00 dealer surcharge due to low inventory. Why Eric Manning would not be truthful about their surcharge before I drove 130 miles round trip in dangerous holiday traffic, I will never understand. He, nor his floor manager, offered an apology. They both conveyed, "Well, everyone is doing it". Not only did Scott Clark Toyota lose a potential customer for life, they are losing the trust of their community.

These people are liars! They tell you half-truths about everything and they have no ethics. Below is a summary of my issues with this organization, which of course no one at the organization responded to even though I sent it to the manager and two general managers. Brian, It is evident that you did nothing regarding our conversation and the email below that I sent you. I had the handle put on my car last Saturday and once again to my disappointment you didn't follow through and they wanted me to pay for a rental. After waiting about 20 minutes they couldn't get a hold of you, so I had to call someone to pick me up. I don't consider a "rental car" that I have to pay for the gas for as complimentary. I now understand the tactics at Scott Clark Toyota, which is to only tell people part of the story. Thinking back on my all of experiences with you, the salesperson, and the finance person, you all told me part of the story. 1. I was told my car handle would be fixed and the nicks in the paint also would be fixed before I left. I waited hours and nothing was done to the car. I pointed this out to the sales person and her response was "Oh I didn't realize that repairs had left for the day". 2. I was told that if I came back on a Monday, I would get a 2nd key made for my car. Please note that I told my sales person that I traveled every week for work and it was going to be quite some time before I got back to dealership. I also explained that I lived in South Carolina about an hour away, which made this even more challenging. I finally make it to the dealership on a Monday to have the key cut and sat around for almost two hours, only to learn that they don't cut Audi keys. During the conversation with my sales person she makes a statement along the lines of "well you needed to get the key within 30 days of purchase". Interestingly, she never told me that on the day she sold me the car. 3. I was asked by the finance person if I would like to get set up for automatic payments. Of course, I said yes, and then he explained that if I made two monthly payments, I would save about 3K in interest. Once again this sounded great, so I said yes to two payments a month. A few months go by and my lender calls me because I have missed my payment. Once I talk to the company that does my automatic payments, I find out that they are changing me a fee for every payment. It is quite evident that Scott Clark must be getting a kick back offering this option, otherwise, why use this company? Needless to say, the finance person didn't bother to mention the per-payment fee. 4. After changing my travel schedule to be at the dealership on a Monday and after sitting for several hours, not only did I not get a key cut but the broken handle wasn't fixed and none of the paint was touched up. It was at this point, that you reached out to me Brian. It was during our initial conversation that you said you would make sure that when I came back to have the service done, you would give me a car to use so I didn't have to wait at the dealership again. But once again, I get only part of the story. Yes, I could get a car free of charge, but I would have to pay for the gas. 5. My cell phone wasn't working one day a few months after buying my car, but no worries the car has navigation so I could use the navigation in my car. Much to my surprise, the car doesn't have navigation as advertised online and on the sticker on the car, which I still have. I spoke to you about this, and you then had to reach out to the general manager. You informed me that the dealership didn't make the stickers, so you couldn't be held responsible for what the sticker said. You told me that it was my responsibility to verify that the information on the sticker was accurate. However, I did appreciate the fact that would meet me in the middle and pay half of the cost that the navigation feature is worth. You told me that you would send me a check for $750. I told you I was very appreciative of this, but I

Do not remotely consider Scott Clark Toyota. You can still find dealerships selling new cars at MSRP (there is no reason any dealership should sell above MSRP). These thieves are adding an average of $4K of "market adjustment" to new cars. Market adjustment strictly means extra profit for them nothing else. Please avoid at all costs. You do not need to pay for any "market adjustments"!
