163 S Trade St #D, MatthewsThe very best groomers!!! We had a bad experience at a different groomer and my pups were scared to go. After finding Canine Wizard, they now get happy and excited to go! I never worry about my pups being there, I know they love them and take great care of them. Not to mention their cuts are always even better than I expect. They do the best! As a doodle mom, listening to how I like them cut matters! They always get them scheduled when it works best for me or if I don’t preschedule at the time of their grooming, when I text or call in, they always get them booked super quick as compared to any other groomer in the area! So thankful I found them when searching local groomers! I wouldn’t trust my pups with anyone else!

It was extremely easy to book an appointment and be seen quickly, schedule surgery quickly and follow up quickly. My dog recently had surgery and everything was handled so well and professionally from check in, to meeting with Pam who was so kind and caring. Our dog has complex medical history and she listened to all my concerns regarding his emergency medications, asked questions, wrote notes this is the first time in any clinic our dogs needs were taken this seriously and it made me feel that much more comfortable! I believe it was Kim who was with my dog during the day of surgery and gave me all the discharge information was so kind and caring and I could tell actually spent time with my dog during the day! And last but not least, Dr Francis, your bedside manner is 100%, so happy we found you and will continue to recommend to anyone we know!

I came here with my family under horrible circumstances and had to put down our beloved dog Chloe in the middle of the night. the team was so gentle and thoughtful and I cannot thank them enough for being there for our dog and us as well. they even wrote us a hand written letter which I have never received in my life before with any of my late dogs. 13667 Providence Rd, MatthewsWe moved to the area last year but was stilling seeing our previous vet 40 mins away because a good vet is hard to find. This morning, our dog came in from her usual morning routine and her face was swollen. She’s 13 and I was panicking. Wedding Animal Hospital was the closest vet so we went there first. The staff was kind and understanding as I sobbed worried that my girl was not going to make it. FFWD, Dr. Walker was great. She talked us through everything, helped Lexi get stabilized and gave us instructions and medication. We were never pressured into anything and felt comfortable asking questions.
We have found our new vet. Thank you Weddington Animal Hospital staff.

4099 Campus Ridge Rd, MatthewsI don’t even know where to begin explaining how wonderful the staff and Drs there are. My Desi, a 3 lb Yorki was attacked by the neighbors 90lb pit bull. We rushed him there where he received immediate life saving care. The level of compassion and care is absolutely unmatched. They went above and beyond for my boy, like he was their own. I even received a huge hug and tears from the staff/drs. I’m so thankful for everyone there. A week later my boy is home recovering. I’ll forever be grateful.

When we were stressed they treated us with kindness and respect. At the Front desk Gay helped us and was exceptional. Hospital for Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery
2440 Plantation Center Dr, MatthewsIf you need dental work for your dog- go here! I was referred to them by my primary for a root canal due to a dead canine tooth. They were able to get me in quickly, and were able to do my consult and procedure same day. They took care to go over everything before the procedure, and I received contestant text messages during his care to keep me updated- never did I have to call ONCE, I always knew what was going on (and that is so, so appreciated). They also took great care not to shave my poodles coat for IV, which to me was above and beyond. Over all, 10/10 experience, if my animals ever need dental work again I will absolutely come here. Friendly staff, wonderful doctors and nurses, and a really nice facility.

The staff and everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. Especially on a Sunday when most places are closed it was a relief after a bit of a scare

1024 Elsmore Dr, MatthewsCan't say enough wonderful things about Dr Martineau. We had a "quality of life" assessment scheduled for my senior dog but had issues getting him into the car. Our vet does not do home visits so I got a referral from a friend and called Dr Martineau. She came the next day, assessed my dogs situation and allowed us to make a decision on next steps. She was patient and understanding. She talked us through the entire process and answered all our questions. I'm so grateful to her for making it easier on us to say goodbye to our boy! ????
