Kim is amazing with color!! She took my daughter from black (boxed dye) to blond in two sessions! She came in with very damaged hair and Kim worked so hard to keep it healthy while achieving what my daughter wanted. I can’t recommend Kim enough!!! Plus she’s a great person!

Kim is truly a miracle worker with hair! She was able to turn my pink and black hair (done by a different stylist) into a beautiful and natural brown with natural highlights. She was also able to correct my haircut (also done by a different stylist) so that my layers are even and blended. To top it all off she’s also just an all around good and kind human! So grateful to have found her!

Today was my first visit to Parasol Salon at Salon Lofts in Matthews. It had been almost a year since my last coloring and cut due to Covid so my hair was in great need of professional care.
Although I had been loyal to my previous stylist for nearly ten years, I was reluctant to return to the “traditional” salon where stylists are serving their respective clients in chairs placed next to one another row after row. I reached out to Kim because I was impressed by a couple of articles she had recently authored and published about coloring techniques and her unique studio salon.
Upon entering Parasol, I was immediately put at ease with the privacy and open personal space that her studio salon provides. After a quick consult about color and style, Kim knew almost instinctively the “look” I wanted. She is truly an expert in her field and I absolutely love, love, love my hair.

I have been going to Kim Wickerham for all my hair needs for over a year now and it is the best decision I ever made. She is very knowledgeable in anything hair, cuts, coloring, styling and she really listens to what you want. She can cut wet or dry and really knows what looks best on you.
I would very highly recommend her.

Kim is delightful.This was my first experience meeting her and having my haircut and hair colored by her.Her salon is clean and attractive.She takes appropriate precautions in this current climate.She took time to explain the different products that she uses and what she thought would be best for my hair.She did an amazing job and I definitely felt very glamorous after.I will be back!

Kim did a great job on my haircut and keratin treatment— she also gave me a lot of good information about how to care for my hair post-treatment. She took the time to make sure I was happy with the cut, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend her!
