I read negative reviews about this location which made me skeptical about doing my labs there. My experience there from checking in to leaving was pleasant. I’m happy I decided to go there.

Someone at the front desk had the audacity to call my healthcare provider and yell at them for ordering “unnecessary lab work”. I’m pretty sure the provider knows what’s necessary more than a front desk worker.

I’ve been to this location twice. The first time (1.5 year ago) they were unable to see me because my newborn needed testing & they didn’t have the tools needed. They were so apologetic, polite & helpful in finding another location for us.Went back this morning for prenatal labs and had a wonderful experience. Was in & out in 10 minutes. The employees were pleasant and did their job well. No complaints!

My experience was great! I was greeted with a smile, then instructed to check-in at the kiosk. The kiosk was my only issue...it wouldn't accept my insurance info. Once I was called up, (which was less than 10 minutes after checking in, with no scheduled appointment) the receptionist asked for my info, and entered my info into the system.I was able to convey to the Phlebotomist? Sarina, about the challenges of drawing blood from my veins and let her know that it's more successful with a butterfly. She let me know she appreciated me telling herLet me tell you, she felt around on both arms and she is the G.O.A.T. because she found what she needed to fill the number of vials requested by my doctor.I will gladly return to this location and I want Sarena to always draw my blood!!!

I saw no indication of incompetence, but the most unfriendly facility of any type I've ever suffered through. If actions and attitudes had been verbalized the dialog would have been "Shut up. Sit down. Do this. Do that. Get out."

This LabCorp stinks. My doctor was very clear on the blood test he wanted, but you messed it up and now I have to go back in for another test. Also, the technician who took the blood is not very gentle in the process. I got the impression she does not like white people.

Great experience, especially for a Saturday. Techs were friendly and got people in and out. Compared to my lab in NY, this one was def 5 star worthy. Keep it up!

Pack your lunch for a visit to this Labcorp bc you’re going to be waiting a while! Don’t expect customer service either…the front desk is uninformative & seemingly angry that you are even there! There is no office manager & it’s almost impossible to reach anyone to voice concerns. I am using google as an outlet to inform others that value their time to seek alternate labs. Also, that someone in the corporate setting will see & address this facility as it is an embarrassing reflection of Labcorp!

Amanda and Andrea at the Matthews, NC Labcorp are amazing. My doctor's office couldn't figure out the code for the fasting glucose test I was supposed to take and I was getting very frustrated (haven't eaten since night before) and the only thing that made it better was Amanda and Andrea. Thank you both!!

Amanda and Andrea at the Matthews, NC Labcorp are amazing. “Best-in-class service” that is an absolute joke. The woman at the desk was boarder line hateful. I didn’t have the blood work done because she refused to answer any questions about the cost of the tests or if they were in network with my insurance company.

*Updated review 10/18/22 - And after all that arguing and talking down to me like I was stupid...guess who sent my daughter's lab result to the wrong provider because they had an order for the same lab in the system? THIS location did.Visited 1017/22. Worst experience. Will not be back. Front desk clearly hates her job and argued with me while my daughter was getting her blood drawn. I was distracted and didn't realize the tech, who was also arguing with me about the lab order, was rough with my daughter who is afraid of needles. I really hope I can find a customer service number. This treatment was unacceptable. If you are in a business to care for patients and you can't even fake being nice then get another job!

In my experience LabCorp is filled with a bunch of employees that hate their jobs - and this one was no exception. Horrible customer service and ambivalence. Snarky attitudes. At least it didn’t take her 3 tries to hit a vein like it usually does. So - that deserves 1 star.

Terrible customer service! And ridiculous wait times especially if they misplaced your paper work and then accuse you of not checking in and then get upset that you're upset.

This location is supposed to be opened at 7:30. However, we all, the line of 6 people came in at 7:52, 22 min late.That would be ok, because I love the ladies who draws blood. They are very nice and professional! However, the front desk lady with blond ponytail was absolutely rude and her face turned red and her lips turned white, when she was talking to me. And I only asked her if she called me to the front desk. I hope they hire a better help at the front desk because the front desk is the face of the company
