i was robbed for $400 from the staff and manager here. i traded my iphone 14 pro max in to the store and the employee said the only way i could get the payment is to load it to my venmo account. it would take 1-3 hours i never got my money and when management got involved all they told me was that the person over them would work on it and that was 3 months ago and i still don’t have my money from giving them my phone so i will be suing them. the reason for even selling my phone was to stop my eviction but i still lost my home because they refused to give me my money for my phone. i still called weekly to get it but all the mgr would say is i haven’t heard from my boss about it so i don’t know what to tell you. i will never in life support gamestop the way i use to ever again

Sold me a used ps5 with a broken HDMI port, no stand and no charger cable for the controller. Unit was filthy, covered in food and fingerprints. Returned it at a store closer to home next day and ended up having to buy a brand new one. On top of that, the $50 extended warranty I bought ONLY because it was used, was non refundable per so called "store policy". Not only that, but because I HAD to transfer it to a new console, it was an additional $15. Should have just waited for best buy to open across the street.

My kid and I went to this Game Stop location to browse. We left with 2 tees on clearance, rechargeable batteries for Xbox controllers, and a video game. We spent less than $100. We are happy with our visit.

Purchased a PS5 on 2/5/23 from this store location, which is exactly 9 days ago. The gaming console had a defective fan, which ran continuously, and made a loud buzzing sound. Arrived at the store today with the PS5 in the original packaging, along with the store receipt. The employee would not refund my money and would only allow for an exchange, DESPITE the clear policy stated on their website, as noted below:"We value our customers and are committed to providing quality support when things do not go as planned. You have fifteen (15) days from your in-store purchase or receipt of shipment of a new item, and seven (7) days for a used item, to exchange or return, unless noted in our exceptions." We will refund the purchase price and applicable taxes and fees to the original form of payment or provide a replacement."In addition, the actual receipt states the following: " Defective merchandise can be returned or exchanged within the return window."To say that we are completely disgusted with this store and it's handling of this matter, is an understatement. GameStop will NEVER see another dime from us again. Hopefully this review will serve as a major warning to others who may consider shopping here.
