Ezequiel Silva introduced me to the range of masks and helped me to quickly arrive at a choice. He explained the features and details of both the machine and the masks clearly and directly, so well I could think of no questions to ask at the end. I couldn't ask for a better teacher.

Lori was just great! She answered all of my questions and pulled together all of my resupply needs. Ezekiel also quickly responded to my request to adjust my settings on my machine. Top notch staff and excellent customer service!

One couldn't have asked for a nicer tech than Ezequiel. He was personable, knowledgeable and clearly explained and demonstrated the workings and maintenance of the CPAP machine. Very nice person.

I returned the CPAP machine, sadly it didn't work for me. There was an issue with my insurance switch and monthly fees. They reached out to help with my frustration after I posted my experience.

Prior to using CHMEI, I used a company who would Robo-call me every single week. At the time when I stopped using them, I had received over 100 calls. After years of utilizing Amazon to make my own medical equipment purchases, my old CPAP machine had mold in it and it was time for an upgrade. My new Sleep Specialist suggested I use CHMEI for my new CPAP and supplies.
I was happy to be using a local company instead of some unknown from Tennessee. I signed up, went in for the initial visit, put in the request for the new CPAP machine & accessories and took it from there. I received a machine, very cheap hose and no headgear or mask. (I used my old one)
I then had a Sleep Advocate reach out to me to ensure my CPAP was working properly, I was using it regularly (insurance requirements) and to make sure it was adjusted properly. This began March 27th and I met the compliance requirement by April 25th.
Once I met the requirements, it all went straight downhill.
Billing: The invoices for the 'rental' are not clear, they are different amounts and I am still awaiting billing to contact me and provide additional explanation/understanding. The 3 people I have spoken to did not have any insight into this information.
Supplies: The "reorder" supplies email eluded to the items I could reorder were already insurance approved items. Later I discovered this was not the case. This delayed me receiving the headgear, mask, hose etc.. 2 weeks.
The billing was not clear at all as initially I only had a dollar amount to pay and no clue what I was paying for vs what insurance was paying.
Then I received my items, (My current mask had a just developed a leak, so, it was very necessary) and I added the new mask to my CPAP bag and went to Europe for 3 weeks. Upon arrival, I learned I received a different mask. This made me unable to use the CPAP machine from early September until today, October 26th. On Oct 17th, I had multiple calls about billing, incorrect supply order & CPAP machine issues. I did receive a call back on the 17th to inform me the correct supplies would be ordered and sent to me and then back to communication silence. It has been 7 business days and I do not have a text or email about my supply order; what it actually is, when it will arrive or if I am being billed for your mistake. (you assumed, and since the items I use are being phased out, this does not mean change them. It means you should have me schedule an appointment for a fitting/alternate solution.)
I do tend to receive calls from time to time and they are always when I am on work calls. I start my day before you open and end my day after you close. I send "Contact Us" messages outside your business hours and do not receive emails/text in return, only a voicemail to call back.
Sadly, when I have called back, I have not acquired adequate answers as mentioned above.
It is no wonder why Amazon does so well. I can use my HSA and I can easily find what I need without the hassle. Once I figure out through my insurance the requirements on the CPAP rental, you will not have to worry about providing answers any more.

Had the mask they used to do my sleep study. Ask if he could help me adjust it. He was happy to, then ask about travel CPAP, sold me one of those as well. He was so pleasant!

I am a first-time user of a CPAP and was a little anxious visiting Carolina's Home Medical Equipment without knowing what to expect. My Respiratory Technician, Zeke, was very informative and put me at ease with a review of procedures and answered all question with clarity and put me at ease with my visit. Highly recommend.

CHMEI was so helpful. I recently had to evacuate from Hurricane Helene and needed a new CPAP mask. Due to power outage issues, I was having a hard time getting access to the correct records and they were so helpful and able to work with me. Thank you so much for helping me during a very stressful time.
