Anytime I am in the vicinity of Brakeman’s, no matter if I need it or not, it’s coffee time. It’s a quaint little home that they turned into a full-fledged business. The concept is locomotives, so the interior exposed brick, hard metal accent pieces, and even names of beverages all point in the same direction. The customer service is incredible and usually has the same faces, so getting to know the staff on a first name basis is very common. The bakery they contract with is a local non-profit and puts out amazing products. They also have other food related items for purchase for convenience. Where it all matters, because upscale coffee shops are white noise these days, the beans and roast are impeccable. I’ve tried a little bit of everything on their menu and the espresso is very high level. I highly recommend the Ticket to London. Pricing is on-point and reasonable considering the quality of product and location of business. What I really enjoyed, just as much as the rest of the aforementioned aspects, was the customer demographic. You get a variety of everyone in there, but yet it doesn’t feel overcrowded, overhyped, or commercialized. It’s just a good local spot with great coffee and top shelf staff. I highly recommend. Love this little nook! The only thing is the seating is limited indoors, it gets crowded quickly. The coffee is a miss for me. But I love getting the queen bee and adding an extra shot for flavor! The music is hit or miss for me. But never distracting or obnoxious. The muffins are lovely and the gluten free baked goods are so tasty. The folks who serve are lovely. And the aesthetic of the shop is nice. I love the old photos in the bathrooms, all the natural light and the fountain outside in the back, the hardwood flooring. And the artwork, notebooks, pens, mugs etc are wonderful. Absolutely lovely spot to hang in the spring and fall! They really did a wonderful job with the space they have. Just wish the coffee game was bumped up a bit. ;) that would be the icing on the cake! ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free muffins are game changers!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes! Through the back!

I usually get Iced Vanila Latte and Great Pumpkin Latte(seasonal menu) with Oatmilk. Today, I got the Iced Slow-Berry Matcha Latte with Oatmilk. WOW! It's fresh and tasty :)The Berry flavor and Matcha tea taste go well together and the Berry flavor is not too strong, so it does not lose the Matcha tea taste. And I highly recommend Great Pumpkin Latte for everyone who likes Pumpkin :)(February/2024)You must try Dolche De Leche with oatmilk !!

It's nice to finally see a spot that sheds some light and love on railroad workers and their critical place in the creation of our great country. The coffee is also good and I love the atmosphere.

Such a cute, local place! Stopped by when visiting and so glad we did! Scrumptious pastries and delicious, unique drinks! I tried the apple cider chai tea, and it was fall in a cup! Will definitely visit again when in the area!

Brakeman's offers a range of specialty coffees with an impressive variety of seasonal flavors. The quality of coffee is good, and it's a pleasant spot for a caffeine fix. They also have a selection of pastries that are pretty average. Service is fast and friendly. The interior is nice and cozy, making it an inviting place to enjoy your coffee. However, it's worth noting that finding available seats can be a challenge any day of the week. Many people come here to work, which can be a drawback if you're hoping to enjoy coffee with a pastry inside. There's a small possibility of finding seating, so keep that in mind. If you're interested in coffee-related merch or packaged coffee to enjoy at home, you can find it here. They offer a selection of cute merchandise like hats, totes, and thermo cups, and coffee beans for purchase.
