I went to this store today around 3:05pm.I tried this product ONCE and it didn’t shine my vehicle the way it promised. Took it back to the store to exchange for a more expensive one and was told “I can not return the item because it’s already been used” of course it’s been used that’s how I know it doesn’t work. Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here. Their customer service is totally unacceptable.

The gentleman at the desk didn't know what a steering dampener is and had no interest in looking one up. Even after I gave him a model number (Rancho RS5000 if anyone is curious). I'm not sure if he was having an off day or is generally disinterested but the end result is the same, I won't be returning. My only regret is not noticing there was a pepboys next door before I left the parking lot. I bet they would have had steering dampeners, or at least been capable or typing it into their computer and clicking search.

Waited in line and there were people in the back talking. Nobody came up to help the one guy checking people out…Update:I also just had to visit this store again and the worker there was very rude. I pulled my car up and he was standing in front of the entrance door and literally staring at my car (mind you, I parked right in front of the door. As soon as we were walking up to go inside, he turned around and as we walked in he didn’t say a single word to us. We said hello and he didn’t even look our way. He got on his phone.This is such a terrible store. I don’t understand how you let people like him work there!

I wanted to return several items that I bought for a project and couldn’t find the receipt. I was told that they couldn’t return my items without a receipt and refused to try and look it up. All items were sealed and I don’t think I’d have a problem anywhere else. I contacted their Facebook account and they looked up my receipt quickly!

This place was over expensive, went for a battery, was told all the battery went up, and was given a discount.. well, that discount was the core for the old battery .. which you get anyway. I bought it because I was made to feel like I had to. Could have bought about 60.00 cheaper elsewhere, different brand same quality and same guarantees.. some much for see a woman coming.. thanks Advance...

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I came in to get a new driver side mirror. Jimmy seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. He looked up the mirror 5 times and finally settled. The employee next to him told him to check the back and make sure it was the same and he ignored him. He told me it would take a week for the mirror to come in. It is now a week later and I came to get the mirror and it is not the right one. He just looked at the mirror dumbfounded. Julio, the manager came over acting like oopsie. No one apologized. Julio said they don’t carry the mirror I need so I’m unclear why this wasn’t told to me a week ago. Now my vacation is ruined and I’m still driving a car with no mirror. If you need help I HIGHLY suggest going to a different location as they have no idea what they are doing at this location and have 0 customer service skills.

I went to the Advance Auto on E Independence Blvd in Matthews NC and Jimmy helped me with my bad battery. He found that it was under warranty and replaced it for free. He also noticed one of my terminals needed replacement and he installed a new one for me. He even sprayed both terminals once the new battery was on to minimize corrosion. He was efficient and thorough. Awesome guy! Thanks, Jimmy!!
