Nice store! Independent health food store so expect the prices to be a little higher then the whole paycheck store. If you know what I mean.

Very nice store to shop for good food. Their almond butter tastes really nice. Downtown Marshall is a great place to walk around too!

Their whole wheat flour is amazing! Wouldn't have believed it could make such a difference in my sourdough bread. Also one of the few places in the Asheville area where you can get Rye flour. Their prices are competitive, which is awesome for a small family business.

Very nice store with a great selection of items however they appear to have jacked the prices up a lot. The man cashier was very rude and nodded his head and pointed at me to show he was open, did not speak to me other than to rudely ask if I wanted a bag. The staff should try to be more friendly and kind their customers.

I really wanted to enjoy the trip to the shop in that the selection was various and beautiful and there is love in this place however I felt as though I was not wanted in the store. The staff member was unfriendly: I smiled and said hi, did not smile back or respond when looking at me and then smiled and spoke with someone who came in the shop that appeared to be local or frequent; i then smiled again seeing them another time and still no response. When i brought the items to checkout, the staff member nodded their head up to tell me that they would check me out at the register without speaking to me. I was glad to have left the store following paying for the items I decided to get. I will not be back in as the vibe was tourists are unwelcomed.

I bought a few baby plants. Lemon verbena, calendula and a blue corn flower. I love how you can get grains etc by the pound.

This is a well stocked, family owned, old school natural foods store. Nice bulk selection including Dr. Bronners refills. They sell individual vegan ice cream pops, lots of snacks & the fridge is always stocked with cold drinks. They carry a wide range of locally made products like herbal remedies, bread, tempeh & locally grown fruits & veggies. They've always got Rosetta's frozen peanut butter tofu, made in Asheville, and it is soooo good. It's not a vegan store but they have many vegan products.
They now have a small kitchen where they make vegan tempeh wrap sandwiches (really good!) and a few to-go salads.
There is a community bulletin board inside and a Little Free Library outside.

Amazing selection of fresh local produce, vegan and gluten free items both shelf stable and refrigerated. Lovely local market in a cute walkable downtown:)

Pretty cool place. They have some cool clean and cleanish food stuffs from chips to local food companies that make freshly prepared pizzas and stuff. My only real complaint is that the couple at the counter...possibly the owners ...were rather rude to me and my girlfriend and definitely didn't invite questions but rather made us both feel like we were imposing. Just kinda the least enjoyable experience downtown out of some really nice ones. I'd recommend they prioritize customers standing in front of them waiting to be acknowledged awkwardly while they finding their side conversation. The young girl that was the employee on the floor was more helpful and willing to assist. Just my 2 cents. The place itself probably was a solid 4/5 if not for the service the owners extended us and the feeling we both had leaving after spending a decent amount with them. The vintage Subaru jeep down the road exuded more personality than these counter folk. Do better.

A variety of general items and many specialty herbs, spices, and teas. Picked up a beautiful sourdough loaf. Wine, ice cream, even frozen meat pies. A great place to pass by for a treat if you’re in the area. Great for tourists if you’re hungry or needing a few items as well. Kind and helpful staff. Thriving small/local business!
