Somebody turned me onto this place a few years ago as THE place to go to get country ham. They have it now for $2.99/lb. and offer to slice for you for free. They are Daniel Boone has and I've cooked one for Christmas every year. They are great hams.

This is a small, independently owned business. I can tell. It's a butcher shop also. The meat looks really fresh. I bought meat here. I thought other items were really overpriced. I understand why, I wish t hey could compete with big store pricing.

I live in a different town but I travel to get the best prices on the best meat available!!! ( It's so worth it! Especially now when everything's so high in the bigger grocery stores!!!)???
