I buy my livermush at May's meats in Taylorsville NC.(piedmont)
By far the best livermush I have had so far. Fits perfectly on a egg and cheese toasted, sliced bread. Fries up to perfection and tastes great.

I came from Colorado and had never heard of liver mush. It's one of the best tasting stuff I have ever tasted. I recently moved away to another state and can't get it any longer. Wish I could order from them and have them ship it to us. I'd be in heaven. Lol

I grew up eating Hunters Livermush. The best brand there is.Every time that I go home, I stock up on it. Last time I bought a case of it.I cut it about 1/4 inch thick, wrap in plastic freezer paper and thin put it in Ziploc Freezer Bags. It keeps for months and months.

Hunters livermush does have a bit more cornmeal in it than other livermush but in my opinion it tastes even better for it. Just toss a light sprinkling of salt on top after charring either side. Delicious.

Born in Hickory NC and grew up eating Hunters. Moved to East TN where we can get Jenkins but I drive to NC for Hunters because " if it aint Hunters, it aint mush" .
