After a recent move from New York, we had to euthanize our 16-year-old maltipoo. We hadn’t yet established with a local office and this one was suggested to us. Though it was a hard decision to make, the staff was sympathetic, took their time with me and were overall the best I have EVER experienced. My Ivy transitioned and I was allowed sufficient time for last kisses, hugs and I love you. I was given a small vial with a piece of her fur and a paw print in clay. There was a side door for me leave so that I didn’t have to walk through the busy reception area. If they were closer to our new home, they would be my primary vet. I highly recommend.

Have been here twice with our cat. First time was for urgent care as the cat got an infected leg wound. We did have to wait a bit but it is a very busy place and we were grateful they could see us at all for a same day appointment. Our second time was for surgery which went well. Staff is courteous and professional, and we like how they are very upfront about cost of procedures and services.

UPDATE: Dr. John called me to talk about my review. He was very kind and patient. They are doing everything they can think of to solve the problem. To anyone with expertise in sound who can keep the Board of Veterinary Medicine happy, please put on your thinking caps and talk to Dr. John about what he has already been through to fix the issue.. Maybe someone can come up with a solution that hasn't already been explored. I have taken my pets there for 12 years and I know how long and hard they worked to get the new building. It's a shame that they have to deal with this issue now. The architect is doing what he can to help make things better, too. I have always appreciated how very practical and down to earth the staff has been concerning caring for my critters. #################################Very kind, understanding staff.Beautiful new building, long time coming and very much needed. Love the paved parking lot! HOWEVER, the lobby may be easy to clean and efficient but the acoustics are horrible. The echoes are physically painful to me and I can’t imagine how already anxious animals feel, especially when their hearing is more acute than mine. I understand the need for hygiene but perhaps baffles in the ceiling would help. Break up the flat ceiling surface somehow. I developed a headache after sitting in the lobby for 15 minutes.

I’ve been bringing my animals (dogs) to this office for several years. There has always been very lengthy wait times, I kinda thought that once they moved into a bigger building that would decrease a bit. The last two times I’ve came to get meds I’ve waited 45 mins and an hour most recently. I totally understand being short staffed, everywhere seems to be right now. My question to the clerk at the desk was “what is the point in calling meds in if you still have to wait close to an hour to pick them up?” The day I came in there were three desk clerks up front working so I still don’t understand why taking so long each time we call in medications several hours in advance takes so long. I have decided to move vets at this time. Other than the wait times the staff and doctors are really nice. I hope this office can improve on wait times in the future.

Very kind and thoughtful staff. My kitty Zelda had a blockage, and they kept her, ran tests, did a barium swallow xray (many xrays in fact), and eventually she passed what she needed to. I felt she was in the best care, and she came home to us healthy and back to her mischievous self!

We just left animal hospital of Marion after many days with Dr Amanda being my Loki boys guardian angel we had to make the very tough decision to help him cross the rainbow animal hospital of Marion and Dr Amanda fought hard for my boy he grew attached to her In a short time due to the love they give our babies we Drive from Weaverville to them because they are so skilled and compassionate at there work and much more affordable then the Ashville Dr's I truly believe it was almost has hard for her as it was us to say goodbye to one very special boy
