Went here yesterday for my baby’s passport and it was the fastest passport appointment that I have ever had. Lorriane assisted us and was so fast and helpful. Even did an amazing job taking my baby’s photo. We were in and out in under 10 minutes. Amazing customer service from her.

My father has lived at his address for 60 years.. His mailbox has been there even longer than that. We have never had an issue with him getting mail, apparently since a new post master has been hired his mail box isn’t up to her standard (Nothing is wrong with post or mailbox itself). We received a letter informing us that there was an issue with his mailbox and that we needed to fix it “ASAP” (didn’t tell us a specific date). The only thing we could think of is that some gravel had washed away from all of the rain and storms we’ve had. No problem, we called DOT asking to send someone out to have a look. They said we are on their list. Not even 3-5 days after this letter they had stopped his mail. We did notify the driver before mail was stopped that we had put in a request and are fixing the issue. She said absolutely no problem, she understood. I was very understanding until Ms. C. Bustle showed her behind when sending my boyfriend up to check on things after trying to coordinate and figure out what was going on (which took SEVERAL DAYS mind you). I will NOT tolerate her behavior when trying to get this matter figured out for my father. He has had several strokes, so he cannot fix this on his own. Maiden does not need employees like this over our town mail service or any services provided here in our community. We all stick together and help each other out. I’m so disgusted and will be inquiring about this matter further.

If this was based off the lady up front and the young gentleman this would be 5 stars, but the “postmaster” was very rude and doesn’t want to hold their lazy backup drivers accountable. Needs to be fired for how she treats people. Definition of letting a little position of power go to your head. Ridiculous.

Easy to find and convenient hours! I was able to get my passport application there effortlessly. Lorraine was so kind and helpful! If you need assistance for anything USPS related this is the place to go!

I don’t usually send out packages. Today was the first in forever, I didn’t know which boxes to use. I was wondering around looking through the boxes, Dorothy, who work there helped me today. She was so sweet and approached me to offer her help and assisted me to finding the most affordable packaging options. Thankful for workers like her who go beyond for customers and truly is there to serve and help us. God bless your kind heart.

Made an appointment weeks ago for my passport. I drove 40 mins and when I got there 20 minutes early I find out I’m not on the list. The lady behind counter who was doing nothing told me she couldn’t help me because I wasn’t on her list but that I could drive another 40 minutes on a walk in day. I wouldn’t be so mad if she had actually been working or even if there were people waiting in line. Poor customer service on her part.

If I could give this place zero stars I would definitely do that. I had a package shipped from Etsy to a friend in Maiden. The tracking showed the package arrived mid December and was to be delivered by 12/16. However, there was no movement for a few days before I made a complaint. I received a call from Scott who said that the package may have been delayed although it was scanned in the Maiden post office. He asked that I give them a few days as this was normal. Scott closed the ticket without resolution. Next I noticed the package was traveling and scanned in Greensboro NC, but no further details. The package was lost in limbo for several weeks with no updates. Ironically today, 3 weeks later I received an update that the package was out for delivery. To my surprise an empty bag was delivered, the gift that was ordered was gone. The empty bag was stuffed inside of a USPS sleeve. Seems a little sketchy to me.

The worst postal service ever. In all of my 23 in the US, this is the worst place for postal service. I have to drive 20 mins on multiple times to pick up my mail because postal delivery personnel refuses to deliver or leave pink slip for when to pick up. I get the same excuses when I go to pick up my package, “it’s not there and they don’t why the person did not deliver or leave a slip”. It’s completely unacceptable and unlawful.

I love this post office. The people who work here are super friendly and very fast. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to have my packages scanned or make a purchase. Out of all the post offices I've used, I think this location and these employees are by far my favorites!

Walk in for passports start @0815. If I am the 1st and only person they see when the roll the gate up at 0815, how does Lorraine call for the 0830, 0845, and 0900 appointments before even acknowledging me and my son who are walk-ins. She has called on all three by 0827. I had been warned by several neighbors about Lorraine when it comes to her customer service skills and quickness to charge you for something you don't need as well as her treatment towards people of color. I was lucky enough to be called on by clerk number 09 according to my receipt (no name tag), who was extremely polite and willing and able to explain all the details so I did not pay for something I did not need. I applaud Ms/Mrs clerk number 09. I give her 5stars. But Lorraine's attitude towards me and my family, telling us to keep over that way as to say "Colored over there in that line" is what brings me to the 1 star. As taxpayers funding the post office We the People expect great, equal customer service from all of our Public Servants (employees). Let's remember, our tax dollars pay their salary. Years of experience does not justify rudeness and discrimination

First off I dread going to the post office PLUS having to drive 40 minutes from Charlotte already had me on edge. But let me tell you the people that work at this post office is soooooooo friendly. It was a young guy and an older woman today and they were both nice and professional! She double checked my passport documents and got me in and out in less than 15 minutes! Just to see them laughing and joking instead of acting aggravated made me smile!! I would def drive the 40 minutes again just to receive this type of service!
