“Valley, Wine and cigar is one of the nicest quaintest places around. They have an excellent selection of whiskey, as well as bourbon and wine and champagne. They also have a large humidor full of all the cigars from all over the land. Everyone that works here and serves here Is very nice and professional and I would recommend visiting this bar any day of the week”
“Bosu's is one of my all time favorites. I have been coming here since I moved out here, and love the wine shop AND the little tasting kitchen next to it. Tasting kitchen with wine flights and beer is only open a few days a week, but it's worth it. Menu always changes. But if they have the ahi nachos, get them!”

52 Old Balsam Rd, Waynesville“The most friendly gas station clerks in town. They keep the store wiped down several times a day. Shelves always stocked. There pretty fast as far as the lines go, unless one of our older vets are in line. But that's ok he's earned his spot there as long as he needs it.”

30 E Sylva Shopping Center, Sylva“Great Selection.
Very clean and organized.
Genuinely friendly and attentive folks own, manage and run the place, I think.
Friendly and knowledgeable family run business.
Prices are standard for this area.
Hours are also standard for this area of North Carolina.
Its a bit of a shock for Floridians, Virginians and I suppose residents of other Eastern states.
But all in all, it will become your "Go to" place without a doubt.”

52 Dayco Dr, Waynesville“As always, very helpful even though Raleigh does not give them a lot of good stuff to sell. I don't blame this place, I blame Raleigh for catering to the large areas and not feeling the request of the smaller communities that literally carry this state. So if you live in Raleigh, Charlotte, or Greensboro and want to escape to the mountains of North Carolina don't bother stopping by our ABC stores to look for your favorite bourbon because we are no longer receiving the good stuff because of you”
“Located on Church Street near the corner of Church and Main Street in Waynesville, North Carolina, this wine shop offers a broad array of various wines including local, US, and wine from other countries. The employees were helpful and friendly. Watch your step as you step down into this basement shop.”
“The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and they have a very good selection. They do follow laws closely which one person has griped about but they are heavily regulated and correct with their protocols. Card fraud is so rampant today and they protect the community with their policies.”
“Cackalack Crunk! I'm not from around here, so I wasn't used to the concept of a government-run liquor store. The gubment runs all the liquor stores in this state! I had heard that it's similar to going to the post office, but for booze. The government doesn't have any competing liquor stores in the state, so they can run their stores however they want. What are you gonna do, drive to Tennessee for that whiskey? Perhaps... But I came in and was pretty pleasantly surprised with their selections and prices. They didn't have the lavish displays like you see in some liquor stores. But I was happy to see that they had a North Carolina section, where they sold about a dozen different locally produced lines of booze, with a nice display and cards explaining a few facts about each liquor. The store didn't sell any beer as far as I could tell. No beer in liquor stores seems a bit foreign to me. The clerk was friendly and made some good recommendations about flavor infused Cackalack moonshines. Parking was easy, and the store was safe and clean. For being a government run operation, there was little/no paperwork involved other than showing my government issued ID.”
