I rarely shop at Dollar General and this was a prime example of why. They had MOLDY, ROTTEN strawberries, blueberries and other fruits out for sale! The store itself was a disaster and filthy. I submitted a photo as well.

I like to stop at Dollar General when I'm on a road trip for snacks. I was in the area visiting the ski resort and stopped at this one to pick up a few things. It was fine inside but really trashy outside, so thought I would share that and hopefully nudge someone to clean it up. I wouldn't think folks like to look at a bunch of disgusting trash when they are buying food.

Hours are not 8-10. They wouldn’t let us in at 9pm. Some random lady walked out with boxes, put them in her car and the dude that was working left.

We have visited this store twice while on vacation and both times the manager was friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to look for an item we couldn’t find on the shelf and he found it. We don’t get that kind of service at a DG back home. We appreciate so much your help!

Very rude worker at the check out line. She didn't want to stop stocking shelves to check me out. I got upset, as well as her and we were both cursing at each other. Very unprofessional behavior

On vacation staying across the street, at Maggie Valley creekside lodge, they didn't open until 4 pm yesterday and as I was walking to the door today at 633pm the lady inside locked the door and put a sign up that said, Closed sorry for the inconvenience. Someone at Dollar General Corp needs to clean house at this location. We have been coming here for 10 years on vacation, its never been a great DG, but never this bad.

Won't answer the phone. Had to call a different D General that was local in the other direction to get my question answered. When I do go in the store they don't act like they care what your needs are. I will go somewhere else from now on.

Horrible, was on vacation at harrahs, stopped in to shop with my family, the cashier locked everyone in the store, and was screaming at everyone in the store, all because the store was having a sell and she was refusing to sell the items for the price they rang up! I have called corporate but they have not called me back!

Went to the store twice and close both times. Really bad for you business. Makes Dollar General owners carry a bad reputation for the store. You are losing so many people.

My visit encountered a dirty store, stock in disarray, shelves empty and boxes down every aisle so that you can't find anything! when I checked out the cashier was arrogant and disrespectful. Employees visiting in store when plenty of work to be done! Doesn't even deserve a star.
