I've never had a problem banking with woodforest. It's an excellent bank and the folks who work there are always pleasant yet professional

Didn't want to give them one star. This bank is careless with it's business. They give you the run around. I've bank with this place years ago and glad I closed my account. Not worth looking into. You'll be better off stuffing your mattress instead of dealing with these people. They do not care about leaving you hanging waiting and still you get no results.

We have banked here for a while but also have noticed we get charged 3.00 a month to have a saving account which only draws in like .06 cent so it’s really no point in having a saving account that we were paying them to have..I mean they already hold your money use it at their will and when you want to close you have to wait until they have all your funds available to give to you which to me is crazy how can I not walk right in and close my account ?? also they hold my husbands checks that are suppose to be direct deposit within 24 hours they will hold them for 2-3 days after his HR says it’s been sent and excepted yes there has been a couple times that we have over drafted and his check was suppose to drop but they held it and made sure it completely over drafted before they allowed his check to drop in we are currently looking another bank I’d rather pay twice what I do then to have to constantly deal with hidden fees the hold up on our checks we have bills and kids how do you hold someone’s money until you feel it’s ok to release it in your timely manor

I sent a friend money. Wood Forest Bank siezed the funds. i.e. they took the money from my account but did not credit it to my friends account. My bank, Vanguard, is researching this nightmare on my behalf.

Ridiculous!!! Hidden fees everywhere. Try charge you for moving your money. They charge you even if your account doesn't go under $200. Highway robbery.
