“I got some serious, big-time, big-league customer service from Laurie today. I walked the store in awe, jaw hanging open while he was helping another customer. He met me and asked what I was looking for: Ariat Cascade 8” lace up steel toe square toe. He immediately said that this model has been discontinued. Heavy, old tech. A poor seller. Damn I thought. I walked past a pair of Thorogood boots on the counter. The most beautiful pair of boots I’ve ever seen. Waterproof, 8” lace up. Steel toe. Leather, made in USA. So comfortable. I don’t think I’ll wear tennis shoes ever again. He also sold me some Ariat square toe slip ons and told me exactly how they should fit and feel. (I’ve never owned slip ons.) Anyway he told me about the Thorogood refurbishment program and warranty and showed me many models and options but I was a goner when I saw the Thorogoods. Huge selection, big time help from my man. A great western shop with tons of great stuff hats knives holsters. What a day. Thanks Laurie !”
