I took 2 firearms in to the store to sell and the idiot that was helping me took one to the back and left one just sitting on the counter with no one around it. He comes back with the first firearm and tells me he can't take it because the mag release was broken. I've had 0 issues that this firearm and he bring it to me with the mag release parts in hand. He starts to grab the second firearm and i was so pissed about him breaking the first one that i just grabbed both and walked out the door. I wish he would've had a name tag on so I could get his name. This location is by far the worst one in all of pawn south's locations. I highly recommend going to ANY other pawn shop to do business as this place is a freaking joke. It needs to be shut down.

Management is terrible and rude. Showed the “manager” proof of a receipt and he refused to help. Claimed that if he took my items the police will be called. Racial profiling at its best. I would’ve gave a half of star if the option was available

Purchased a controller from them & it didn’t work. not 2 hrs after my fiancé and brother tried to get a different controller before buying the one they got. they swore the one they purchased worked so if it worked they figured they didn’t need a warranty BECAUSE THEY WERE ASSURED IT WORK ! I’ve never been a pawn shop that didn’t want to sale no other controllers the that certain one they sold us. On top of that they didn’t tell us the price for a warranty. GET A WARRANTY FROM THEM WITH WHATEVER U BUY I WOULD BUY NOTHIN AT ALL TBH!

If i could give zero stars i would. This place does not know the rules and regulations of buying and selling firearms. The person behind the counter would not even do the research or call someone to ask a question about how to sell to someone in the military that is active duty. No effort what so ever. I guess it's too difficult to take 5min to double check or ask a question when someone drives 50min just to go to the store. I will never waste my time on this place again. I am a resident and have my conceal and carry in North Carolina.
