This place was a pleasant surprise. We got strwnded in Lumberton for a night and I looked up hotels within walking distance of where we needed to go the next day (long and complicated story). I found this place and we stayed here last minute. They gave us a room with a king bed (we didn't even ask for it just said whatever you've got) that was clearly an accessible room and it had a MASSIVE bathroom and shower with an amazing shower head that could come off the wall. The room was clean and smelled great. Plenty of light and a huge TV. Sure the view isn't anything to write home about but it is a small motel off the interstate so what do you expect? Very convenient to walk across the parking lot to the gas station for snacks and the like. Fast food was also within walking distance if needed. All in all it made a pretty scrappy situation much better for us because this place existed and frankly I'd find an excuse for us to stay here again.Rooms: Clean and spacious. Great tiled shower.

Staying here was a mistake. I can’t imagine how people are leaving 5 star reviews. Maybe this place is getting mistaken for somewhere else.
The location:
Stopped for one night on a thanksgiving trip heading back to NY from Florida. It’s right off I-95. The rooms looked out at the small parking lot and the gas station just 150 feet away. You hear everything outside, especially people playing music in their cars as they pull up. I stayed on the lower floor and you can hear every footstep upstairs and the neighbors next door as well. The heating/ac unit is very noisy and seems like the fan bearings are shot.
Wish I would have stuck to my usual and booked the Holiday Inn down the road for a few extra bucks.
The Room:
Somewhat run down. Stained old furniture you don’t want to sit on. Little roaches in the bathroom. TV is basic broadcast channels if that matters to you. Place has a weird smell to it.
