“Spears country store is one of my favorite little country stores has a good atmosphere folks are very friendly they also have a deli and the food is delicious they also have a small selection of fishing lures I always enjoy shopping with them”

“Only gave a 4 star, because of the newer women working there. My husband and/or I stop by here almost daily. SEVERAL times we’ve heard the tall brown head women, and shorter blondish head woman, with darker eyebrows gossiping and laughing and making crude comments about customers. How often and how much “Jim Bob” gets beer, IS NOT your business. Because of “Jim Bob” and several other customers, YOU ARE EMPLOYED. My family and I have enjoyed the convenience and the friendly outgoing employees of Stamey’s and Cruz thru for YEARS. All your fellas and the curly headed younger girl with glasses are always so polite and friendly. But when you have people who want to put down and judge customers, in front of other customers, who KNOW these people (we live in a smalltown, we all know each other), that will do nothing but decline business. I may be just one person, but imagine every 10 customers heard this. All the younger kids are great! And Candice? I think is her name, she’s amazing and has always been so sweet and friendly when we’ve seen her. But the two, older, newer ones, need a lesson in customer service. We love and support smalltown business. But employees like this will run your hard work into the ground. Just wanted to give a heads up to you all.God bless,Ashton”
“The customer service here was pretty great. They have a wide variety of items that you would expect to find at most convenience stores. I also appreciate that they stay open to at least 11pm (6/7 days a week) which you surprising don't find at every gas station/convenience store in this area.”
“They could have more food items gravited toward lunch as far as if that was going to be the last store you stopped at before and during work. Other than that, go there every day”
“I'm going to start off with saying the pizza is AMAZING!!!! I won a gift card for ordering offline and of course i used it on pizza and drinks! I dont go anywhere else for pizza but here. The employees here have always been really nice to me and my family ever since they have been there. I love the convenience and easy to get to and out of. Thank you for opening this place up we needed a great store and pizza place to go to that wouldnt break the bank when you wanted to get something good to eat!”

“This is one of the best places to purchase gas and tobacco products. Tonight their gas was $0.10 LESS than surrounding places, which already had good prices. Their cigarettes are almost always cheaper here as well. The Murphy Rewards program is free and you can catch some great deals. The employees are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location.”
“CVS in Newland, NC is always clean. There are helpful employees who are happy with helping you. Shelves are stocked so has what I go in to get! The manager is such a nice man who is helpful and always smiling.”
