I wish Amazon would stop delivery using the post office. They won’t carry boxes up the stairs that Amazon delivery drivers carry. They have a contract and should honor it. All the driver did was come to my door and complain over and over again until I came down to get it.

If I could do less than a 1 star I would.I was having a package delivered I would have to sign for. It was scheduled to come in Sat the 23th.The mail was late and we watched for the carrier. When he arrived I was standing in my door waiting on him to pull in the driveway, but NO, he just drops the reg mail and drives on and then my phone text was this message.Latest UpdateWe could not access the delivery location to deliver your package at 5:27 pm on September 23, 2023 in LEXINGTON, NC 27292. We will redeliver on the next delivery day. No action needed.Now no one home to recieve the package that has to be signed for becuase the carrier was to lazy to pull in a double car driveway. I have never had this issuse with them. WHY?

The Lexington post office is the worst post office I have EVER interacted with. The old ladies there are awful; just rude and have absolutely NO empathy.They rearranged all of the mail boxes in our neighbor without any notice (still have never received any notice, and it's been about a month now, other than what the HOA management company sent after I called them to figure out why we weren't getting our mail).When I called to figure what was going on and let them know we haven't been receiving our mail but instead been receiving our neighbor's mail, one lady flat out told me she couldn't help me and the other lady made it out like it was my problem, my fault, and told me I needed to speak to some guy named Randy. She had no idea who Randy was, his last name, or any contact information.After going through the HOA management company, the builder, and the realtor for our neighbor, we finally figured which mailbox is ours and how to obtain a key.Apparently, the second lady I spoke to at this post office changed all of the boxes with notifying the any of them either.They have terrible customer service and I hope to never have to deal with this office again!

I've 2 packages,The courier didn't press the house bell, only put a notification if we missed our packagecoz we're out ,then we came to the post office and were only 1 package, Until now the my 1 package has not been delivered yet, btw it's internasional delivery so need sign

The mail carrier constantly leaves without leaving our mail! We have our driveway full and one of our cars due to where we rent the car can’t come in bc it scrapes really bad! And I’m not fixing no damages! I stayed to then multiple times she has left us a letter being very rude! It’s YOUR JOB to leave us the mail! Even when I back up the car enough for her to leave mail she still won’t leave us nothing! Are you that lazy to get off your little car and leave us the mail? Y’all hate the job so much find something better!! I’m so over that mail lady and her notes

Ok this place gets horrible reviews but my experience both times have been awesome. Mr Doug is great and when I made a mistake with the wrong box to ship with, he went to the back and got a correct priority post. Parking is on the road or around back.

Typically the people behind the counter are nice and helpful but they've just gone too far this time. I purchased a very expensive piece of computer equipment and the tracking number says it is delivered. I DO NOT HAVE IT. I have checked my security cam and there have been no package thieves, it just wasn't delivered. I called them and the guy checked the tracking and literally told me "Oh well, you can file a claim but it probably won't help".You wouldn't be saying "oh well" if $200 of YOUR money was missing, and your expensive item seems to have vanished. Not helpful at all and the phone menus are ridiculous, its just Covid-19 messages over and over.EDIT: My package showed up 3 days later in my mailbox. Checked my camera. Only person who ever touched the mailbox was the mailman. This means he marked it as delivered and did not put the package in my mailbox. Why? Who knows, they'll never give me an answer because they won't accept the fact they made a mistake. Bet if this happened to them they'd be upset.

Had a fill-in mail carrier one day a couple weeks ago, she broke our post and shoved an oversized box in and went on her way; even with eye witnesses around. Contacted the PO and spoke with a supervisor, who got a hold of the carrier; she denied it, refused to come back out and make it right. Was promised the PO would fix the post via another supervisor and it’s been almost 2 weeks now and they have not held up to doing what they said.

Child support needed to verify my income to reopen a case against my daughter's father. Yet, every time Lexington post office got the address verification letter, they marked, "does not live here." Although I had been living in that same home for 5 years. My caseworker had to send me the mail in an unmarked envelope, and I took it to the post office to get it signed in person after 5 months of them sending every single one back!!!It seemed to be a mistake at first BUTNow I'm in the same situation, I no longer live there, but my son's father does and has for 6 years. But the address verification keeps getting sent back to child support BY THE POST OFFICE stating that he doesn't live there.So, my assumption is that the employee doesn't like child support and thinks he's saving a fellow "brother". I truly don't know, but what I do know is that this is no mistake!

Child Support was trying to verify my address to reopen a case against my daughter father in a new state. Every time the post office got that letter they would mark, "not at this address" and send it back. Meanwhile I was for 5 years. AFTER 5 months and several papers sent back, my caseworker had to send me the letter in an unmarked envelope and then I took it to the post office personally to get signed.NOW I'm in the same situation trying to get an address verification for my son's father who still lives in that same home. THE POST OFFICE WORKER keeps sending it back to Child Support stating he is not at that address. But he has been for the last 6 years.So, it's my assumption that the employee that is in charge of the address verification letters hates his job or hates child support and thinks he is helping another "brother" out (it was a male who came to sign the paper when I went in person).REGUARDLESS, this has GOT TO STOP!

I always end up right at closing time, and of course, there's a line (to be expected), but surprisingly, the staff is always extremely helpful & friendly! I've never had a bad experience with this post office.
