There are not enough words to Explain the complete satisfaction. I had with my experiencefrom Cathy Barnett from the Sheally insurance group. During an extremely stressful and hard time after a terrifying car accident, Cathy went above and beyond to not only help me with my total loss, my policy and peace of mind, but also guided me through making the best decisions for my future with this Insurance company. Her customer service was above and beyond. Dealing with the process of a life-changing car accident is overwhelming to say the least especially when you were the victim.Cathy was an insurance agent who not only guided me through my options but was unbiased in helping me with my current policy and best decisions for the future. She guided me through the process with the most amazing communication and looked out for me as if I were a member of the family. I was in the service industry for 20 years and can tell you wholeheartedly that this experience was top-notch customer service and I could not ask for anything more.

I have never posted a review, but todays frustration has brought me here. I have been with nationwide ( Sheally) since I was 16 I’m now 53 and have no complaints about the insurance itself. Today my frustration was with Shelly. Today I tried to pay my insurance over the phone like I do every month but they seemed to have changed something’s with verification of your identity. I didn’t have my bill with me because I was at work and never needed before. I don’t even mind the automated that comes with trying to call the local office. What I do mind is when they ask me for things for my identity which was zip code and birthdate, when I put those things in they told me they were wrong, I know where I live and I know when I was born. After several tries clearly their information was wrong so that needed to be fixed and here is where the frustration starts. I needed to speak to a person every time I ask for the local office I was asked for zip and birthday which they kept telling didn’t match what they had, you see the problem here. On about the 6th try I just hit 0 when the recording started it sent me to a recording asking for an ext. or the first 3 letters of a name. Which I knew none well because I haven’t been able to talk to a real person. So at this point I was really frustrated and decided to go by on my way home from work to get the information fixed. 2 years 2 since Covid the office was not open except by appointment. How are you suppose to get an appointment when you can never speak to a real person? The number they had listed to make a payment was the same number that had the wrong information that I couldn’t make a payment. I did finally get my payment made after I got home with the policy number on the second try because on the first they told me it was wrong. My birthday is wrong and when asked if right I said no thinking I would get to someone to fix, nope the automated just started back over. So I just said the birthday was right so I could pay my bill. Customer service is important, real people offering real customer service when needed. I have stayed with nationwide through Sheally even though there are cheaper because they were local and I could call and speak to someone or walk in if I had questions or needed to make changes. After today not being able to get the help I needed from my local office, I mean what is the point of a local office if you can’t use it, after 26 years I’m considering looking for insurance somewhere that actually has a local office open. Customer service is important, most important when you need it. I needed today and couldn’t get it.

I have had Nationwide insurance 25 yes + always have good service with "nationwide" but the Shelly group is the greediest impersonal group I've ever dealt with in my life. Call them your call gets sent to Wilmington NC they don't want to talk to you one in one show you the get care they just want you to slide their money thru the mail slotA huge difference from the times before Shelly took over a d don't blame covid cause I walk in one in one and do business with all phone/ banks/ loan co/ restaurants EVERYWHERE except for the money hungry Shelly group

Cathy is hands down the nicest, sweetest, and most caring person I have ever had the opportunity to meet. She is also very professional and knows her job amazingly. She's also the most patient as I have had to have multiple rewrites throughout the years. She is the only reason I am currently with this particular agency. Love everything about her!!

Missy at Sheally Insurance is absolutely amazing. I have always gotten incredible service from this company. But Missy has taken things to a whole new level. While I have no doubts Missy is as busy as can be with sever another clients, she makes me feel like my business is the only one she works for. Whatever I may need, or whatever I may need to be educated on Missy takes care of it. We are fortunate to have her as an agent, and our business is successful in very large part because of her.

Have had this insurance company for 10 years now. They are very helpful. Have helped my family through alot of troubles. When there was an accident and the other driver was at fault their insurance company was trying to put off getting us a rental and Eric here got us one by the end of the day after contacting the other insurance company!!!!
