I brought my son to get shoes he found online. We were greeted when we came in. But Employees acted as we were being a burden when my son wanted to try shoes. Very poor customer service.

The shoes i brought of online was to big so when i went to pick them up from the store they he my size I had to pay some money more to get my shoe even doe I paid online but to get the same little size shoe i had to pay that’s crazy

I would negative stars if I could. We walked into this location tonight to purchase a pair of sunglasses. Guy at the register at first agreed and offered to open the case. When he noticed that we had fire department jackets on and were first responders, he IMMEDIATELY refused to make the sale for the sunglasses offering up the lie that only the head manager has keys for the case and that there was nothing he needed to sell us. The fact that me and my husband are first responders should have NOTHING to do with the fact that he should have been professional and made the sale. Secondly whatever his preference about first responders, it’s common decency bc at that moment we were customers not firemen. We were instantly DISCRIMINATED against bc of our job?! Not only is it disrespectful but it’s also like a personal slap in the face as well as just pure unprofessional period! I’m done with hobbit sports as a whole bc if that’s the morals of this company that just bc of my job it’s ok to refuse to sell something especially when that something is well over 200$?! My husband went to the tville location and they were AMAZING and offered to help us any way they could in making that sale, so whereas my husband still shops now only at tville me and some of the others are done for good! Mind blowing, shocking experience!!

The store did not open on time(like a hour later)which made me late for work. I had to wait because I was picking up a raffle and I had to travel from Winston-Salem to Lexington. I wouldn’t have enough time to go when I got off so I had to wait so I didn’t chance losing my raffle. I didn’t have anyone else to pick up raffle. So my experience was not a good one at all.

I visited the store in Lexington on 7/21/23,The young lady greeted me as I came in the door. I asked what was on sell, and she showed me what was. Then she guided me to the wall and said it's shoes that wasn't as pricey as well. She asked what was I trying to spend. As we went through a few brands she also encouraged her co worker to greet th other customers as they entered the store. Back to me she was very patient with me and she also made sure I signed up for more deals in the future. For a 19 year old young lady she was very knowledgeable of the merchandise and we smiled and laughed as I couldn't get the link to open on my phone she used hers to make sure I was taking care of. I wish I could remember her name but she had the absolute best customer service I've experienced since the pandemic. I would drive the 45 minutes away when it's a store 10 from my house just to deal with her again. Thank you for my awesome shoes and the sale price was unbelievable. Deon Garner

When my husband and I walked in we were not greeted. The person at the register was doing something on their cell phone. The other 2 employees were walking around. No one ever came up to me or my husband and asked if we needed assistance or anything. We were looking at women’s shirt that hanging up to where we could not reach it and nobody offered to get the shirt down. The 2 staff members that were walking around walked really closed to my husband and I but neither ever opened their mouth to even speak to us. We went to the register to pay for 2 shirts I picked up and the girl at the register didn’t even speak to us. She only asked what our phone was to pull up our Hibbett account. I asked was there a survey on the receipt and she looked at the receipt like she didn’t know, but to my surprise there was no survey on the receipt. I told her it was ridiculous how we were in the store for a long time and no one even spoke to us. She just looked at me and didn’t respond. I will not be returning to this store. This store deserves a rating less than 1 star. I would advise the leadership of this store to train their employees on customer service and take the initiative to converse with consumers. This store was not inviting at all.

I normally love this store and the staff that works here but today I went in to buy a shirt and the shirt did not have a price tag on it so the other lady asked the manager about it and the manager had an attitude with me I guess cause I wanted to spend money who knows but she really does not like her job

I will start by saying that the staff was friendly and the store was clean but that was about all they had going for them. All of the football and baseball gloves were in one location with a sign that stated "Clearance football gloves $10". We took 3 different pairs to the register and they were all $35-$60. Again, the store was clean so it's not like someone placed them there, it's the way there were stocked. So I did purchase 2 pairs of football socks for my son, the tag on them showed $9.99 but they rang up $11.99 and the cashier tried convincing me it was adding the tax when you could clearly see the tax at the bottom of the screen. They did adjust the price but this store definitely needs some help with pricing their merchandise.

The only problem I didn’t like was there would be signs up of stuff on sale but when you go to check out the stuff wouldn’t be on sale and the person checking you out always says they don’t know what’s going on. That has happened to me the last couple times I’ve went there.
