No separate cat/dog waiting rooms and the one waiting room is tiny. Me and several others had appointments (and had gotten there on time!) and still were waiting HOURS for the said "appointment". It would've been fine if they had communicated to us that there would be a longer wait. Left after an hour and a half bc they told me they didn't know how much longer but that it would "be a while"- once I and another customer asked.

They were out of my price range this time. However, the lady on the phone was nice and retrieved all the information for me to be informed.

This is the BEST vet I know. Dr Smuck is so caring and knowledgeable. The staff seem to really care about your fur babies.

I cannot say enough about this vet. The Dr. is the best I have come across. You may have to wait but he is only one man. It’s expected. If you’re looking for a vet who cares about you and your animals this is the place you’re looking for. You will have to wait because everyone wants their pet to be seen there.

10/10 they were very thorough with my new kitten and got her feeling much better. Everyone is super nice. We will definitely be taking our other cat here from now on

The front staff are rude and inconsiderate. Nobody wants to take their pets to a vet and they make the process even worse. They still don't take appointments so you end up waiting all day. When you try and call in, you get a "hold", no "hello" "can I help you" "PLEASE hold". We have taken our pet to Jordan Animal hospital- hands down 100% better! They even sent a follow up text the next day to check on our pet.

If you have time and patience to wait, this place is great for you! During last experience there, I had to bring my 3-year-old twins, plus our two large pit bulls to be seen for routine exams. We sat for 2+ hours before being seen.Then of course, when they finally take our first dog, my son has to use the restroom. I panicked! He was freshly potty trained and JUST gotten the hang of not having accidents, but there’s zero access to a restroom! I couldn’t leave because they had my dog. Needless to say, their plants got watered.Davidson Animal hospital needs to get over Covid restrictions. They need to make appointments. They need to at the least get a port-a-potty outside for those they continue to make wait!

Dr. Hedrick, is the best. When my Bindysue was really sick, and she was not going to get better Dr.Hedrick helped her cross over the rainbow bridge. He prayed for her, and prayed for Chris, myself and my sister. He’s the very best Veterinarian there is around.

I went at 8:30 to camp out tell they open so my baby could be seen. When on here it says they open at 10. To my surprise I watch somebody walk into the office so I walked in after her to get mine seen asap!!Super disappointed in this veterinarian hospital. I have been taking mine and my moms pets there for many years now and today I'll never go back. My 5 year old cat needed to be seen asap (emergency) and was told i would have to take her somewhere else. Because there were already three emergencies and there were no appointments??? Dr. Hendricks does a lot of things at his clinic that many of us hate and has been for many years. But I've never known him to turn down a pet who truly needed his help. But the staff has no heart for you or your babies. I was absolutely devastated when I was told that they would not see my girl.

I've been coming here since 2006. This new staff the vet has now is rude and disrespectful. I bring my dog in to be euthanized, to end his suffering. Instead of the staff being understanding in my decision all they did was try to make me feel bad and told me I should give my dog to an animal shelter, even though the will dog bite. I will not be coming back here.
