It's always a blast to walk in because I am blown away by long forgotten relics from my past. It conjures the feels as memories flood back and makes me spend copious amounts of time secretly relieving my childhood. There's always a lot to look at, both old and new, and am blown away by my experiences there. Added bonus; the prices aren't insane or scalper-esque. I pity the fool who doesn't like the Toy Chest.

The smell of the place was terrible. I’ve left and can still smell it. The place was just really dirty with old toys that had high prices. I Can see that maybe some were collectible but most seemed like old yard sale toys that would never sale. I would never recommend it.

Cool place. They had some vintage joes, moderns, transformers, mask, he-man, neca, etc. Was able to trade and buy. Will need to return.

Made the drive to Blakes from Charlotte looking for some vintage Gi Joe and I’m happy I did. I figured I would hit some other vintage toy stores on the way back but there was no need. The shop had pretty much every vehicle, figure and play set you can think of at a fair price. I went home with a car full of awesome 80’s toys.

Such a pleasure to deal with. Gives more than fair on trades. wide selection of toys. Great prices they never try to rip you off. He knows his stuff about toys. Always pass through on my way to Duke from Georgia. The store never disappoints.

The place would be much better if the owner didn't have his dog there peeing all over the carpeted floor creating a very bad smell.

Blake's Toy Chest is tops! He usually has just what you want in vintage toys and if he doesn't, he will work to find it. He has reasonable prices, too.
