Delivery of propane gas as scheduled was a big relief. No worries about cold winter season that may bring severe winter storms and snow. Delivery driver very courteous and no property damage during refill. Thanks Amerigas!

You can never get through on the phone and they will send your bill to collections with no notice. Don’t do business with this company.

I have always received excellent service from Amerigas. My only problem with Americgas is they charge retired seniors the same price as working families.

Update: Do not be fooled by the automated responses to their reviews. They did not call me and sort things out. In fact, we spent another 2 hours on the phone with them getting absolutely no where. They keep referencing a district office that needs to get involved, but will not transfer my call or give me a number to call. We are fighting for a full refund and switching companies immediately! STAY AWAY FROM AMERIGAS.Worst company ever. Not approving pre-buy contracts and constantly battling on agreed upon prices. Spend hours per week on the phone arguing with them. Horrible experience since they bought our local supplier. Literally go with anyone else.

Just tried to close my account. Rep told me to send them my mother's death certificate. I gave them all the other info from the statement. They are shameless in their attempts to keep you hooked. I told them they won't get a dime from me.

We have been dealing with an issue with AmeriGas since April with no resolve. The one positive thing I have to say is the response I received from Becky - a Customer Advocacy Specialist - who replied to my email as soon as she received and hopefully has resolved the ongoing problem.

Worst customer service EVER!! They have missed 2 appts to pick up my mom’s propane tank. No calls. Nothing. Just never show up. My father passed away and the account was in his name. My 82 year old mother sent the death certificates TWICE (which they confirm receiving) and they still demanded to speak to my DECEASED father!!!! Unbelievable and UNACCEPTABLE!! No explanations, they just say it will be another 2 weeks.DO NOT DEAL WITH AMERIGAS!!!!PS. Your replies seem to be Robo reply’s so please do not tell me to email a robo. Your customer service stinks! How about an actual person contacting me by phone and then an actual person keep an appointment!

Update May 5, 2023– You finally picked up the 3-1000 gal tanks and 1-250 tank BUT STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED OUR MONEY. I guess the only recourse I have is to do a chargeback or take legal action.March-You have gotten the gas out of the tanks, but the tanks still set in our yard - now for almost 2 months. This is very unacceptable. Plus you have not given us our credit back for the gas that leaked out of the tanks or for the gas that you pumped out of the tanks. Now we have to pursue you to get our money! UNPROFESSIONAL AMERIGAS!

Carolane, the local company which was purchased by AmeriGas filled the gas tank on a regular basis and we never ran out. AmeriGas did not continue the service and we ran out of gas. When I called AmeriGas I was told it would be several days before we could get a delivery. Later the same day the strong smell of gas filled the kitchen. I called AmeriGas back and they said they would send someone out and cautioned us it may be a gas leak. When the AmeriGas representative arrived he confirmed the gas tank was empty and explained the smell of gas is to be expected because a scent is added to the tanks to alert they are running low on gas. AmericaGas then sent us $99 bill for this visit. If customer has explained the smell of gas is to be expected when the tank runs empty this it would have eliminated the need for the visit and the bill.

Nice man put the correct amount of fuel in my mom’s tank. She got the bill and sent a check in. Check cleared the bank. Your company sent her two letters telling her she had not paid. ?

AmeriGas is the worst place that you can get your gas or work. They don't care anything about their employers I know from first hand my husband worked for 42 years in the in gas business they meet him at truck one morning told him they didn't need him anymore I have city gas now no more propane gas for me
