Does Lowe's Food in Lewisville have a new manager? It seems like it's going downhill fast. Everyone used to be so friendly and professional. Now a lot of the cashiers are on their phones, not very friendly, and some will stand around and talk with each other instead of jumping in to help or bag something. It's bizarre. I've been going there for years because it was so great pretty much every time, and now the last handful of times I've been it just seems a bit..ghetto maybe is the word. Definitely not professional and well-organized like it used to be.

Great salad bar. We come to get salads several times a week. The staff are wonderful, especially in the deli.

I shop here only because it's less than a mile away from my home. I don't understand the way this store runs. I wanted to surprise my wife with a nice fish dinner tonight, too bad I got to the store at 6:30PM. the associates all ignored me who passed by me blankly staring at the meat counter. No fish me us, I suppose .Also, this store seems to be run by kids in the16-20 range of age. They'll be a million kids standing around at the front doing nothing but yet there's an elderly woman outside getting all the carts. Want to check out some discounted items? Have fun digging through a packed full shopping cart in the back corner of the store. 1 star because that's the lowest Google will let me rate this location. Perception is reality, guys. Do better.

Let the shopper beware. Always check to see if any marked down item (especially meat) rings up correctly. I have lost count how many times I have had go back to the store to collect my money from being over charged. No store credit. I want my cash back.They know it is a problem but choose not to fix it. More money for them if they continue to over charge and the shopper does not catch it.

Attentative servers and food tastes good. We got there at their opening time and had to wait 55 minutes to be served because they didn't have any rice and were waiting for it. No one else was served as well. Perhaps this was a fluke since we went there a week earlier, and everything was fine.

This is probably my favorite grocery store that I've ever been to!!! They have a huge variety of literally everything. Although, they are slightly more expensive than a lot of grocery stores. They have really great sales on their sodas pretty frequently, I've ran across several buy 2 get 3 free sales and they are totally worth it. All of the employees are always friendly and the beer den guy, Rick, is probably my favorite person there. As soon as he sees me, be whips my drink right up without question. Great grocery store overall, I don't might spending slightly more for groceries to enjoy this store!!!

I had gone to the farmer’s market in WS this morning and spent all my cash and found that I had left my debit card at home, but had my wallet and DL. I came to the Lewisville store; a place I go weekly and asked one of the managers whether or not they took checks, explaining my dilemma about my cash and card. Before I could tell him that I had my wallet, he immediately told me that without my ID that he definitely would Not accept my check. Although he had been helpful to me in the past, when I asked him how many times he had seen me in the past, he denied ever having seen me at all and was so negative that I left and spent my money elsewhere. I did however stay in the parking lot long enough to write a complaint in their reviews and within ten minutes I received a response and an apology as well as an offer of a phone number to call to discuss. I did so and I was told that I would hear from the staff that day. A couple of hours later I got a call from a manager by the name of Jessica who discussed the situation. I received an apology and an incentive to continue shopping at the Lewisville store. We all make mistakes, but it’s how mistakes are handled that shows the value of your local team players and whether or not they care about you as a customer. Jessica stepped up to handle a situation that another player had failed with. He, apparently never learned about the Not responses, for in his first three sentences he made assumptions and told me he (would not),(could not) and (did not) have any options to help me, relying on “policies “ as an excuse for his failure to see me as a valid customer. She also explained that the coupon/discount card would have identified me, as well as my id, options that weren’t offered by the first team member, in fact, he never considered. I hope that this team member will learn the difference between a team player and a team member. I already knew who Jessica was as she shows she knows the difference between a member and a player in her outward appearance and personality. She reiterated her commitment to professionalism in how she handled the call. She and others like her keep customers shopping as they know how to retain customers by knowing the difference between team members and team players.

Great service, and always clean for everyone, and the food you can get at the counters are amazing as well!
