“All in all an enjoyable stay and very reasonably priced. The area does look like it's under going some renovation, but the structure and the rooms are unaffected. Very quiet.Rooms: Room was clean and without those annoying stale motel smells. Frig, microwave, ac, cable TV all worked fine.Another thing is that most motels you find a garbage can to empty at the end of a long corridor. This Red Roof Inn has garbage cans attached to the structure about every four or five rooms. It's a great idea to be able to go outside your room and empty your garbage 20/30 ft away instead of having to walk 100 plus feet to the nearest garbage can. You can see that in the picture.Nearby activities: The usual assortment of fast food can be found, but some decent steak and Mexican restaurants are in the area.Lots of parks and dog parks nearby and of course if you like hiking and biking trails Lenoir is the place to be.Safety: See the pictures outdoors in the parking lot. They were taken in the middle of the night. Point being you need not be concerned about leaving your trailer or car in the parking lot. The motel is very well lit. The place looks like it could be available for night baseball. Makes it very safe to walk your dog at night or to go to your car or trailer to get something. You feel very safe.Walkability: As far as going to restaurants, the Dollar store, drugstore, etc., you can certainly drive but it's all within walking distance.”
