Worst experience ever. I purchased 4 games from this location. These were pre-owned games. They weren't cleaned, nor resurfaced. They had scratches, and one had a crack. I had to get it resurfaced at another game store. The disc broke. This GameStop refused to replace, or refund the money for this disc. I then called customer service for GameStop. They refuse to call me, nor do anything to help. I'm now dealing with a lawyer to sue GameStop.

The employees are extremely rude and half the time can't be bothered to look up from their phone to answer a question. Pre-ordered a game and it was supposed to come with something, which the employee took my number and told me as soon as it came in (and the date they were expecting it) only to not call and when I called they were rude about it. Pre-orders are kinda useless if you don't even provide what you advertise.

1 of the worst gamestop that i've been in my life. I make it a point to know about customer hospitality, and what I got the last time I went in the store was none of that. I went in there to trade my playstation 5. What they ended up doing they told me that I had to clean my playstation 5 and go back to my house?Then, take pictures of my playstation to prove that I didn't have bugs in?Needless to say, my less then one year playstation had no bugs in it. I cleaned it. I cleaned it regularly, but according to the lady that was working there, it wasn't clean, and it had bugs in it. She would not buy it. Without me cleaning it. Not only. Will I not be going there anymore? But I will drive the 30 minutes to go to statesville's gamestop versus. Lenoir's Gamestop because I am highly disgusted by their attitude, their energy, and their atmosphere. That's not how you keep customers.

Called ahead for a copy of the new Zelda game and picked it up no problems. Dude at the counter was chill.

The store left up B2G1 free signs from the week prior all over the store and were very rude when I, not knowing about the sale, was confused as to why my order didnt ring up with the B2G1 deal. I ended up buying nothing and will not be shopping at Gamestop ever again.

This location is probably the worst. There were 3 people working and there weren't many people in the store, I asked a question, only for the woman to walk right past me despite looking me in the eye when I was talking to her. The girl following behind her, like a shadow, came back and asked what I needed help with, she didn't even know that a power brick was a thing and they laughed and continued to ignore customers and even picked up and hung up the phone several times while I was in the store. Aside from their regular rip off game "deals", the employees are mostly garbage since the ones who knew what they were talking about have disappeared.

This review does not reflect this particular store or the employee who did try and help me but GameStop as a company. After preordering a game and arriving to pick it up this morning only to be told that the game did not ship to the store. This was annoying enough but I was like whatever let me have a refund and I’ll buy it from somewhere else unfortunately GameStop is so crooked they would not allow for a full refund back to my card. So me and the amazing associate called customer service 2x only for him to be transferred to a company that didn’t even work with GameStop this happened not once but two times. Honestly this experience is borderline stealing on gamestops part by not delivering on product purchased and then trying to weasel out on a full refund. I have been a long time customer with GameStop but will be taking my business elsewhere as I’m tired of dealing with there low handed tactics in screwing their customers.

So uh I walk in to this gamestop and I look around for 5 minutes and the lady basically yells " just to let u all know my break is at 3:40 it's currently 5 minutes till my break and it's illegal to make me work past my break" we are looking at this lady like uh when did we ask we aren't your employer and we don't magicly know when u go on break. Like I had things in my hands I was going to buy and now I can't buy them because it 5 minutes till your break!!! I drove about 1 hour to go to this gamestop and now I can't even buy what I need!! Like seriously bad customer service! ?

The employees are extremely rude, especially the girls there. Straight up disrespectful acting.AlsoPre-ordered a game because I was told it came with something upon release, that day came & I was told by the employees that the shipment was "behind" and they took my number & said they would call as soon as they got it, checked back several times, was told they still hadn't gotten it, finally I called back again and they said they just gave away the last one. I won't bother preordering anything else since employees have admitted before they got theirs "no matter what".

I've pre ordered games from Gamestop since EB games was still a thing. Most of the time I just pay in full for my pre orders, this way I can just pick them up on release day, in and out. For the first time since doing business with gamestop they didn't have my game on release day and now over a week later still no game. Let me just put this disclaimer, I don't blame the store or employees themselves, If the warehouse doesn't ever send the game that's not there fault. The only reason I pre order games is to keep the store open and help the employees out on their numbers. But from this point on I will download digital copies only and order my hardware online.
