I was able to get to the store today and meet Chris the owner hell of a guy. The store is top shelf and he can take care of all your music needs I was able to talk about my experience with the band and then heard the tragic news about Robbie Robertson lost another great one

Alright, this place is pretty great. I unfortunately don't remember the owners name but he is super friendly and very helpful with questions. Good service. Next, decent selection when it comes to records, CDs, posters, and other things. You know even though a record shop it won't have it all but it has enough. Lastly the prices, good prices for what your getting. I'm from Washington state, Seattle area. And every time I come to Lenoir to visit family, I stop in at Dead Wax Records at least once or twice before I go back home. This place is awesome one of my favorite things to do while I'm town!

went here for record store day 2023 on april 22 and had a very organized experience getting the taylor swift vinyl! even before that, the owner was very wonderful to talk to and gave some tips about how to get in the shop in the most efficient way on record store day. the store has a whole dolly parton shrine, a wide selection of cds and vinyl, and is just a nice place to be !

Best selection of records around. The only negative is that I don't have enough money to get everything I want. Everytime I get a chance to go there's always something to get that makes my day.

I give this place called Deadwax a 5strar rating as a Loyal costumer since 2012 . Chris has all kinds of great stuff there from records to cds . He also has a kickass rock band ! Been down with Chris since the Repot Depo days . Will be defiently going back .

Dead Wax Records has a great selection of records from various genres at great prices. Country music fans will be especially pleased at the wide selection. The bargain rack ($1 records) contains a few gems. Will be back when I am in the area.
