The Crooked Car Port is the classic example of a sleezy, dishonest used car dealership in business only to steal people's money. Do not trust them, or you could lose thousands!!I purchased a vehicle from Car Port. This purchase was for the borrower in this situation, and we were supposed to the lender. Steve, the owner and salesperson for this transaction was aware of this arrangement because he needed our approval to run the card. We told him specifically it was a payment situation, a car loan and not a gift, he acknowledged this.Days after the initial purchase, it became obvious the borrower would not pay us for the vehicle. I then called Steve to confirm that I was on the title as the lienholder as Steve said I would be just to find he never put me on there. He lied to us about putting us on title, he deliberately kept only the borrowers name on it so she could stop payment with no consequence. On the phone he told me he would quickly edit/alter the title and add my name as lien holder and send title to my address. I do not think he did this, he just said this lie to get me off the phone with him. Strange how he never mentioned how we would sign it or get it notarized to be valid.I soon began to realize I was out a car and the nearly 5k because of Car Port's questionable business practices.Since I knew they were in the process of conning me out my ownership rights as a lien holder, I tried to stay in contact. After having that one conversation on the phone with Steve, he was to never pick up for me again. He would ignore me profusely refusing to ever pick up my calls, my emails, or messages. Any time I would get through, he then made sure that number went on his “do not answer list”. At one point we had someone else call on our behalf and Steve attempted to con them out of $500 to supposedly repo the vehicle. I am assuming he thought the problem would just go away, unfortunately for him it will not.3 weeks after being ignored by Steve, I drove up there to discuss the situation with him. He was shocked and became instantly defensive. He had the vehicle there on the premises yet had never informed me. According to him he called the borrower directly to order her to bring the vehicle back. I then asked for my car back or a refund, he refused to do either. I showed proof of purchase, proof of payment arrangement, and proof borrower had missed a payment. I asked for a receipt of vehicle, paperwork of purchase, or proof of possession, Steve declined to do anything for me. He quickly became agitated, confrontational and starting loudly cursing me out, not very professional to say the least. I left there empty handed, without my money or my car. Steve probably gave vehicle right back to the borrower delinquent on payment.Steve refused to go through the proper process making sure we were the lienholder on the title. When I confronted him, he made it worse by trying to cover it up. He never had us sign anything which he was supposed to. Instead, unbeknownst to us, he made some backroom deal with the borrower to keep us off the title resulting in stripping us of any power over this vehicle including power to repo. I have no idea how he still has his dealership license.I do not know what Steve did with the title, if he unlawfully edited it, or if he handed it back to the borrower. Maybe he lost it and its nowhere to be found. But I as the lienholder, the lender, I am supposed to have it, and Steve knows this.By far the worst experience with a car dealership ever! They will pocket your money, steal back your car, and run from there wrongdoings. Avoid Crooked Car Port like the plague!!

If you go on this lot and it's ur iclast n only 1000 to 2000 down make sure u save enuff for a tow truck because that glimmering shine on the out side does not fix motor transmission or any other mechanical problems. Be ware they got nice looking cars but there worn out bout blown up

Bought a 2005 Jeep Commander in March 2023 made pmts as I was suppose to. The jeep tore up days after id gotten it Steve had me take it to his mechanic whom was rude hateful swore he placed a new head gasket n waternpump on it well I pick it up and it dnt make it home until it's running hot againWent several times to speak with Steve try n pay a PMT n see if he could put me in a vehicle that at least would run. No response and so I had no choice but to park the jeep it hasn't cranked sinceand late June. The motor was destroyed by his failed mechanic and liquid glass I did change the radiator hoses put in new thromastat new antifreeze. Crank the jeep and. Within 10 seconds it was so hot the. Marker was on red so I'd cut it off. I'm having to pay to keep this jeep stored. Because since June I've called left messages gone to the car port. With no body that comes to door answers phone or apparently wanted the money for my pmts. The jeeps destroyed motor. N transmission wise and here I am without a vehicle to drive yet I'm having to pay to have the jeep stored n set where it last tore up at so that the car port dnt think I'm still out driving it or tearing it up what do I do I've been in contact with the inspector at hi way patrol and I have tons of reviepts where I've bought new parts paid a certified mechanic to install. I've kept a call log of every time I've called the car port n left message after message n left my name number as well for someone to return my call or tell me what to do I didn't wanna risk tryin to get the jeep cranked to take it to him if I can't pull it in safely n park it at the lot and they usually have a car blocking off entrance of lot just what ive had to pay in parts maintenance anf towing n storing of the jeep exceeds what it even book values at now it want turn over crank or nothing the motor was bad when he sold it to me and then his mechanic made sure it wasnt gonna run right ever again. So what can I do I owe yet another month of storage on it and I can't even bye myself or trade it in for a nother vehicle last time I did speak to Steve he said he had 125 cars of his that need repairs or didn't run at all and h been recieving pmts on them well I've paid ever single month to keep the jeep and I am tired of paying to keep it safe if hee can't pay me or give me the title to thehadnt jeep n let me try n sell it for the junk it has been and is

I personally wouldn’t recommend shopping here, EVER. I thought I was walking into an honest buy here pay here car lot. The financing is easy to get because they want to sell you any kind of vehicle. They get the cars from auction, which I knew that. There can be anything wrong with these cars and they buy them from an Auction that tells them what is wrong with them so they should fix the problems. Instead, this place puts bandages on problems and hides them. I got an Infiniti M35X from here. Not even a day after I get it the check engine light comes on. I take it up there and they just cleared it. The codes were for the exhaust system. I felt something was fishy so I took it to my mechanic. By the time he was done looking at it he has a paper list of everything that was wrong with it.. They replaced the engine and it had a big chunk missing out of the bell housing. They said the oil was changed, as in pictures attached, the oil didn’t even have a quart in it and was beyond dirty when I bought this vehicle. They did agree to replace the engine again, but, getting them to even try to do it was a headache. They told me to call the place that put it in and get them to order a new one when that should of been between the Car Place and the Mechanic Shop, not me. It was hard to get them to admit they sold me a pos car that didn’t have things done to it that they said was done, like changing the oil. All they made was excuses. Also, the muffler was zip tied to the car barely hanging on, the exhaust system shouldn’t of ever been passed!! They get places to pass the inspection, that shouldn’t be on the road. Just wanted to share my TRUTHFUL experience here. Never again!

My friend purchased an 06’ Saab 9.7x which was the nicest SUV I had even driven. I have to be honest in state the vehicle whistling pricey at least 2000 over the going price. Which is to be expected from a buy here pay here lot. This is a very sought after vehicle with only 19k made that year. With a 41,850 sticker piece that year. So the $6,488 Sticker is fair in my book. Other lots on Car Gurus the same year make and model has lasting for around $4,500 At several locations with a rare supply of inventory. This truck was so clean low miles 118k. Mint cherry condition. One hell of a buy. I drove it for over a month. I would Mark and his team hands down for a remarkable buying experience. No credit check. Not even proof of income. Down payment was a little pricey at $1,800 but hey you get what you pay for right. 5 stars! Good luck!
