“I have been coming here for around 3 years and I have to say that by far this is the best place to go to for quick friendly service the guy at the desk is quick to see what your needs are and see that you are taken care of quickly. He is very knowledgeable and conveys the car problems to your understanding. They are the best!”
“Great bunch of folks, I used to do all my basic mechanical needs myself brakes/oil change etc.
Since my hands haven't been working and eyesight diminishing rapidly I've let these guys do that work for me since 2012.
Thank you!”
“Called 3 shops beforehand. All said the same thing. ‘We are booked out for 2 months’. Called Bolick and they told me to bring it in 3 days. Had it done and dealt with in 3 days. Calling this fine work is an understatement.”
“I came in on December 15 and the man on the front desk was very helpful. He got us in quick was very respectful and got the job done. We will be coming back! Very appreciative of the service!”

“Quick and push in bushing for my brother and knew what kind of car just by the looks of it so a must if near by and heard nothing but good thing and only problem was I couldn't reach by phone and he needs to fix that cause business is walking by over not just saying hello on the telephone! So go by in person and hes in the back not up front.....”
“Took Anthony my 10r80 per usual CDF drum problems, he put a new valve body, clutches and updated cdf drum in it. Turn around time was incredible. 2 days. He was always quick to answer questions I had, even when I overfilled it with fluid and was driving to work at 5:00am in the morning. 5 stars for Anothony and his guys at signature speed!”
“I can’t say enough about this local family owned business. Our daughter was visiting her grandparents in Lenoir while on Labor Day break from UNC. She experienced some car trouble and I wasn’t able to drive the 4 hours from Ft. Bragg to assist her. Jim and his staff opened their doors and were able to sort out and fix the issue. I hope the surrounding area knows they have a true professional and dedicated family man serving the area. If I lived closer they would 100% be my go to for any automotive repairs. Thank you BrotherServices: Tires”
“Just had an vehicle inspection performed. They were quick, efficient and courteous. They have performed other engine work in past and there work was superior. Would highly recommend them for work on a vehicle.”
“Excellent service. Called to touch base about issues with vehicle, confirm costs, and even did a test drive after the work was done to ensure that everything was done well and working as expected. I appreciate the time and attention to detail by this mechanic.”

1163 Bradford Mountain Rd, Lenoir“I recently had my vehicle detailed by Image Detailing & Collision, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. As a family-owned business, Christie and her family truly went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. My car looks impeccable, and the overall experience was top-notch. I highly encourage everyone to support local, family-owned businesses like this one. Their dedication and personal touch truly stand out. 5 stars without hesitation! Thank you again Christie”
“I originally went to a national chain shop that deals with brakes and suspension. I had got a tire there and the manager said his shop could fix the squeak in the rear of the vehicle. They had my vehicle for a few days and instead of repairing it, they instead threw parts at it trying to fix it but not accomplishing that task. To their word, they eventually agreed to get it fixed at an independent mechanic. The national chain shop recommended Calvin Faw to do it. It turns out that it was the rear end differential that had been wearing out. Calvin did keep it for about a week getting the part in, but when I pulled it out of the parking lot, it was actually quiet. It drove fine and I plan to let my daughter that is learning to drive for it to be her learner's vehicle.Service: Steering & suspension replacement”
“Best service ever!! We were looking for a nice, reliable SUV for hauling our pups when we go on vacations or visit my son. Jerry was very professional, reliable and courteous. He even met with us in his day off to help. Jerry was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. His pricing was spot on with our budget and was well in line with what the vehicle should cost. He made sure that before we left, any concerns were addressed and we are more than satisfied with our purchase. 10/10 will ABSOLUTELY buy from Jerry when we need another vehicle. Thank you, Jerry!!!”
“Came out from school and found one of my tires had completely lost air pressure. Limped it over to Wheelings Tire & Auto. They found the offending piece of metal in my tire and fixed it in not time - flat! Professional people working here! Thank you Wheelings!”

510 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir“My husband and I take our cars here and we never have any problems. They are professional and do great work. I have a 2008 Toyota Matrix and this is the place I take it to get serviced. Prices are fair and things get fixed. Highly recommend them.”
“My alternator went out this morning while I was in the area. Lenoir Automotive was able to get me in right away and even accommodated my kids and dog. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them! Honest, helpful, friendly and affordable. Thank you again!”
“This is a great and friendly junkyard for the little man and experienced collector. Friendly country service, knowledgeable, and honest, as well as faithful rain, sleet, snow, or hail. Please contact these men to pick up your junk vehicles to recycle. It’s great for the environment, frees up your yard and helps a man or woman find a fair deal used parts before rushing into Hastey decisions like parts stores, and other tow yards.”
“I won't take my car anywhere else to get anything done. Brad is very knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend taking your vehicle to him to address any Automotive needs.”
“Called Tim when we were in a crisis and needed a part changing out quickly in the car before a 600 mile journey. He fit me in the next day after ordering the part. I had told him the wrong year on the car so when the part came it wasn’t right, totally my fault and he was incredibly gracious. He rang around all over and got the right part, got it shipped from GA to arrive later that afternoon and he stayed late on Friday night to fit it for me!! Excellent service! Would not hesitate recommending him to anyone.”
“at Herman’s garage they fixed my exaust to even better than what it was Bobby and his team did a good job definitely have my business they even done such a good job i gave them a tip for doing it”
“Wes is running a local, family, business. He's been there for decades. I've done business with Wes for almost two decades. I have found him to be an honest fellow. I have dealt with him on three personal vehicles, my tractor tire research, lawn mower tires, oil changes "exhaust straitening" (literally) and found him to be open, honest and reliable. He also stands behind his work, tires and parts.
I'll give "Jada K" that his shop is not 'presentable,' and could us a good Yard Sale/Spring Cleaning. But I was astounded to read her claim of 'racist.' I've been in and out of that business lots of times and waited my turn to ask Wes and questions or leave my vehicle, or dispose of used oil and such. I have never seen or heard anything that would leave such an impression. I wouldn't put up with it and I certainly would not knowingly do business with a bigot. The boarded over shop window was curtesy of a customer screwing up and and Insurance company whose advertisements and service are at odds to put it kindly.
A lot of these 'pretty' shops are more Franchise Money Makers than local businesses* and you'll find yourself paying a premium for the pretty because Auto Repairs can be a dirty business and paying folks to keep everything looking like a McDonalds is why their ten-cent french fries made from fresh potatoes, peeled, sliced, blanched and fried on-site (circa 1964) have been replaced with factory fresh flash-frozen fries boiled in oil at a buck fifty for a "small fries."
Geeze, he doesn't even have a website - imagine that!
One thought that comes to mind is the expression "Busy as a one-armed paper hanger." I suspect that he could keep five or six good mechanics busy based upon the lines of satisfied customers that keep his phone ringing.
*Most recently, I had occasion to call the Toyota Dealer on 70 in Hickory, NC to ask about replacing a part on my vehicle. After calling Service, explaining the reason for my call, then getting transferred to Service and explaining the reason for my call, I was transferred again and then told someone would have to get back to me on that. I gave them my number and never heard from Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota to date. But Boy oh Boy does Mike have a clean WiFi showroom / waiting area - and prices to match.”
“They've always been very helpful! Always went above and beyond to help get my car running again, and made sure I had a loaner while mine was being fixed. Great people”
“It may not look like much from the outside but I took a chance by stopping in. Billy took the time to listen to my issues that ai had with my truck. During the repairs he communicated to me one other related problem to fix my overall issues, brakes, and suspension. The work was completed in a timely manner and the price was fair. He showed me the failed parts afterwards. In one visit he established my trust and I will definitely return”
“My husband and I had looked for a 26 ft Budget truck for our commercial Business we had looked within a 500 mile radius and couldn't find one I called these guys and they were able to help instantly.”
“This place is amazing! While visiting my sister we were driving in her car when her check engine light, battery light and temperature gage lights all came on and she lost her power steering, thankfully we were able to pull over right into their parking lot the gentleman came out and checked the car out told us the power steering belt broke. Offered to fix on the spot and even had one of his employees take us home!!!! Called us when it was finished and did not over charge!!!! Very Friendly!!!! This definitely was a God thing!”
“We drove 5 hours to the dealership. We had been working with the staff for several days as our situation was unique. When we arrived the vehicle was out front waiting and we walked in signed papers and was on our way home in about an hour. Thank you everyone at Friendship for making our experience great!”
