3150 Wrightsville Ave, Wilmington“The most incredible vet in Wilmington! So beyond grateful for how much he cares for Bella and all pets. Bella suffered a horrible side effect from a drug called PosaTex that another vet prescribed to her which caused her to go 100% deaf in both of her ears. It was absolutely devastating and she was so miserable and confused for over a week. She also had a double ear infection. No one was willing to help. Dr Kerr was able to fit her in promptly and he recommended Ozone therapy. Within 24 hours of her first treatment, Bella’s hearing had significantly improved and her infection is almost gone at recheck that she has been fighting for over a month. Dr Kerr has truly saved us! We are so thankful her hearing is coming back. He also has checked in on us multiple times to see how she’s doing. Thank you so much!”
“We had our dog spayed last week and it was an excellent experience and didn’t break the bank like we had been quoted with our normal vet. Everyone was so pleasant to work with, responsive and professional. I wish they offered the other vet services because we would definitely switch to them. Highly recommend!!”
“If you are looking for a place where you can take your Animals and know without a shadow of doubt that they will be Cared for like family. They will be with some of the most qualified hands that there is in the veterinary field. Everyone there has been a breath of fresh air to work with, I have been taking my animals there for years. Truly a place you want to do business, with that being said cannot thank the team enough for all of the help throughout the years. Truly wonderful people who are masters of their craft, Who genuinely care about the animals And their well-being. Simply put Amazing people, amazing service, You will not regret Taking your animal to them. Great job again guys!!!!”
“Dr. Kerr is extremely knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend if you're looking for focused care and not the frills of a high end, expensive office. this is a low key, space where the focus is on good care via western and alternative means and I don't feel like a number here. I can tell he truly cares about my pup.”
“The staff are very sweet and considerate. My wife and I had to put our cat down, we were distraught but they made us feel comfortable, walked us gingerly through the process, and gave us all the time we needed to grieve. Before that they took really good care of our cat and treated her with love and dignity. Please choose this place for your fur babies”

58 Waterford Business Center Way, Belville“Everyone at Capeside goes above and beyond! Dr. Farrell is beyond amazing with our cats, and Dr. Hanby and Dr. Carmine couldn’t be better with our dog. They offer house calls, which has definitely been a game changer since we have 2 cats that don’t like to travel. We live in Porters Neck, but would travel to them no matter what!”

58 Waterford Business Center Way, Belville“In 2015, we adopted a Dachshund, Darla, from Furever Friends and their partner, Capeside. Darla required surgery and Dr. Sheila Hanby aptly treated her then and through the years and helped Darla live to age 18. We were forced to put her down in March, 2023 when she could no longer walk. For the preceding year, Drs. Hanby and Jeff Phillips kept the sweet girl functioning and as much out of pain as we could. Darla's passing was devastating to us. Imagine how we felt two months ago to get an unexpected call from Dr. Hanby and Sharon Smith with Furever Friends to say they had a ten year old Dachshund named Penny whose owner had just passed. Dr. Hanby and Sharon Smith knew how much we loved and cared for Darla and both immediately thought Penny would be ideal for us. We rushed in to meet her and she greeted us with wagging tail and kisses. It was instant, mutual love. Capeside and Furever Friends are extraordinarily caring and wonderful organizations, We love them both.”
“I took in my extremely aggressive and reactive female German shepherd and a small kitten. Even with my shepherd trying to eat everyone they worked with me. She was at the end of her heat, scared, and thought they were going to hurt her. It was bad for her but they worked with us. I couldn't say enough good things. Most vets would have been rude and hateful about her reaction but this one understood. I can't thank you enough for what you did for me. This is one step closer to getting her trained properly. Thank you.”

4 N 26th St, Wilmington“I switched to Forest Hills approximately four years ago when I moved into the neighborhood. I could not be more pleased and appreciative of the quality of care and concern they have shown in taking excellent care of my aging beagle. My dog has undergone two TPLO surgeries under their care. I felt total confidence in their surgeon, and appreciated their attention and direction throughout his recoveries. The thing that stands out the most about this practice is the personal touch they bring to caring for my precious beagle guy. Because he is aging, our appointments are not always straightforward. They consistently take the time to listen to my concerns in full, locate the issue, and patiently provide an overview of treatment options. When I have had emergent concerns they have always managed to fit me in on the same day to see a doctor! I can't say enough about Forest Hills - the staff and medical team is incredible and I can't imagine taking my pup anywhere else in Wilmington! They really care and that means the world.”
“Dr Terry is wonderful! I have had multiple cats with issues and he took the time to explain the problems and the options for treatment. You can tell that he - and all the staff - really care about the animals they see. I bring all my pets here and highly recommend.”
