Lauren, Barbara, & Dorian (hope I spelled all the names correctly) thank you for your pleasantries! Effortless and painless on shipping the baby shower gifts. But my kudos isn’t so much on the service they provided for me (which was great!) but how they handled an upset customer.
A gentleman was upset that his package wasn’t delivered on the day he wanted, which can be upsetting but the package did get there! Given all the storms, flooding, etc this past week on the east coast be thankful it got there, sir.
It seemed he was upset that he paid $60 for express delivery but it ended up a day or so late. Again given the storms you’re lucky it’s still not in transit.
The ladies remained so poised during the whole situation. So amazed because my blood was boiling at his snark remarks, shaking of his head, several eye rolls.
The man left and was in a very nice maroon BMW suv.. I don’t think the little bit of extra money you spent for express shipping is going to hurt you, sir.
To the gentleman, this is a note that life doesn’t revolve around you. If that’s your biggest gripe, that the package arrived a day or so late ( most likely due to Mother Nature ) then you are living a very posh life. Your privilege was really showing and I suggest checking yourself before conducting yourself like that again.

Shipped package from Leland to NYC 3 day delivery on May 8th. May 17th shows up back at UPS Store in Leland. No one informed us. We figured it out from tracking. Store returned package but wouldn't issue refund. Said it was UPS's fault. Called UPS. They said we had to get refund from UPS store. Battled with UPS but ended up back on phone with UPS Store. Person who refused refund initially said it would be through store but only after they submit to UPS. We'd have to await corporate decision. I said not good enough. Please contact manager or owner. She said she was doing everything she could. I said refusing to contact manager or owner is not doing everything she could. Ended up calling UPS Store customer service. Once I explained what happened and she verified through tracking what happened she issued refund. Less than 5 minutes with her. Over 2 hours between UPS Store and UPS. Simple situation. I paid, service failed. Give me my money back then you decide who's at fault. Don't place it on me or make me wait for your agreement or submission through official channels. Horrible customer service

I was so surprised at the lies I have experienced at this ups. For us to have to deal with the disrespect, lies and more lies are so unprofessional. Sometimes it’s better to see a company for what it is and the people they hire. I’m soooo shock as long as we been with them to go to the extreme of the lies that was told. I had to give a star because of the professional lies that was told.
Not only did they speak with wife my wife and still said well it done the only thing you can do is set up another account. I’m starting to feel this is not about wrong but I’m starting to feel another way about this. Trust and integrity is laughable but I get the underline. I do like to Thank the Wilmington ups because they are great cause trust and integrity is something they really stand on

I only drop off packages here for when I return things. I understand these folks do a lot of monotonous things, but I wish they could be a little bit more friendlier. When I walk in the door with a package to return and a QR code on my phone it’s pretty obvious what it is I need help with. So I don’t need somebody asking me twice what I need help with. And if there’s confusion about something, there’s no need to be rude about it. And maybe it was just this one time, and the employee’s tone was not the best. Well considering UPS makes a lot of money from Amazon returns, I don’t think I would take it for granted when people come in to do it.

The person that took my shipment should not be representing the UPS logo. Absolutely no education and rude. To top it off the picture will show how my order arrived and as he told me textually…once it’s on the truck things can happen.

I went in for a last-minute drop off of an oversized return box from amazon. The gentleman was extremely kind. He was closing the store but still took me in. He opened the door for me as I was carrying the oversized box, and he took care of everything so quickly. I was in and out in just a few minutes! I Had an excellent experience. Thomas was so helpful and easy-going, made the whole process a breeze. Will absolutely become a returning customer! Highly recommended!
