My daughter wanted some highlights for the first time. After being frustrated with the "service" and treatment of other surrounding salons in Leland, we decided to give SmartStyle a try.Abbey did such a great job that I'll be booking my next appointment for myself with her! She was kind and helpful through the entire process and was very knowledgeable of her skill. My daughters hair looks exactly what she showed Abbey from a picture. The prices are reasonable and I loved how comfortable everyone at the salon made us feel! Special shout out to Katelynn as well for being so warm and fun to talk to. Great salon, great hair, great people..what else do you want? This coming from someone who literally has tried everywhere around except Magnoli Spa, don't waste your time with Moxie, Tads, Capellis or great clips..?

Abbey the salon manager did wonders on my hair. I literally called in a panic and she immediately told me to come in. She did the most amazing job and she did not stop until she got me exactly where I wanted to be. I will definitely be back. Also the entire experience in the salon was just amazing all the girls talked and put in there opinions on what needed to be done it really showed a lot of team work and that is huge in my eyes. Thank you to all three girls that were working.

I had an appointment at SmartStyle for a body wave perm and possible haircut. I had to wait a while, however, it was well worth the wait. Abbey was my stylist. She apologized for the wait, offered me a discount, then discussed with me what results I wanted from my perm. I am ecstatic! This is hands down, the best perm I have ever had. It truly looks fantastic. Other than a snip here and there, a haircut was not needed. Abbey is now my stylist. If you want a body wave, I highly recommend Abbey at SmartStyle Salon.

Abby colored my hair twice in the last month and did a fabulous job, she was very knowledgeable and helped me get the right color. Abby made my visits very comfortable and is a pleasure to talk with. Staff was very professional and courteous.

I definitely will be back I feel bad cuz I do not remember the hair stylist named that done my hair I can tell you she is a blonde but she was very very amazing with me and my story and took the time to give me what I wanted

I have been in NC for 4 years and have had a very hard time finding a stylist who was knowledgeable in diverse cuts; who would take the time and listen how I like my hair cut. After having the same stylist in my hometown for over 20 years; (yes, I was picky) that all chaged yesterday when I got my hair cut by Abbey. Not only was she a pleasure to talk to, I felt heard and confident she knew what I wanted before the 1st snip of hair. I finally found someone here that I will go back to for a 2nd time ... and continue to.. Thank you so much, Abbey!(Leland store)

I went to see Hind on 10/20. I had a really bad knot in hair, and she did everything to save as much hair as possible. She did such an amazing job with my cut, and color and making sure I didn’t walk out with no hair. If anyone needs a good stylist, come and see Hind!Services: Haircut

I booked a hair cut for 5:30pm. I just wanted a hair cut, nothing drastic. A bob with stacked layers. Well I showed up at my appointed time as I had just gotten off work. When I got in the chair the stylist pinned my hair up and was talking on the phone as well, a personal call. I had an idea of what I wanted, but I was polite and was waiting for her to finish her phone call. When she got off, I proceeded to tell her what I was wanting and showed her a picture, but she quite rudely reminded me that they closed at 6 and she needed to count drawer and do the deposit. I had a few pictures, but she only saw one and asked if I wanted it stacked, I said yes. I assumed she saw the bob part, but no. So now I look like a first grader boy with a Terrible bowl cut. Not sure how I am going to go to my professional business place looking like this. Do not even insult me by trying to make up for this in any type of way. I can assure you I will never be back. I am not a rude person and am usually quiet which is why I didn’t say anything once I noticed it. It wouldn’t have done any good anyway she had already had it hacked off.

I've been going to Hind for 7 years. She always takes her time and makes sure cut is never too much. She blends blonde into my grey and natural color beautifully. I highly recommend Hind as she's also very likeable and pleasant! She really cares about the look you get.Services: Haircut

Booked an appt yesterday for 11AM appt today. Arrived at the salon a few min early of course. Was told the stylist I booked (booked with her bc of the countless good reviews, first time customer) with would not be in for another hour. While this was kind of a bummer but I desperately needed a haircut and decided I would wait the hour! Needless to say she never showed up. The other stylist was nice and apologized but never once tried to work me in FOR A HAIRCUT!!! I asked if she was booked for the day and she sighed that yes she was. While this is in no way the other stylists fault I was also just floored that she also never attempted to “work me in” even tho I had an 11am appt and it was 12:15ish by this time. As a mom of two girls (whom I had to make arrangements for while I wasted an hour and a half) I just wanted a haircut, a day to feel good about me!!! This was a huge bummer for me. I wish I could come here and tell you about the great experience I had as others did but that was not the case today.
