Magnolia Greens is a very attractive golf community in Leland! Very short drive to downtown Wilmington.

27 hole layout with mature landscaping, lush fairways and receptive, but fast, Bermuda greens. It's a gem. Only negative is there are a lot of bunkers and lazy, entitled golfers (aka jerks) who don't take them after their (apparently) numerous trips into them.

So fun! I had such a great time spectating my dad and sister golfing and even hit a few golf balls myself! It’s lovely out there, really well-kept, and there’s a bar/restaurant there for all your food and beverage needs. Loved that they had canned and bottled beverages at-the-ready so we could take them to the range and enjoy. Great selection of bevs! The range is clearly well-kept and divets filled in often. There is a dress code - don’t wear denim! Can’t wait to go back.

Great course. It’s looking good with the grass and such coming out of dormancy. It was worth the drive (90min) to play it. Greens were a bit slower than what I’m used to. Didn’t play so well but still enjoyed it. If you’re in the area, go try it out. I played Magnolia and Camellia courses. There’s some bunkers and water out there. It does help to have someone with knowledge or a gps or something to help out. I use the 18Birdies app to help me plan my shots. The driving range was nice…fairway turf and the practice, putting, chipping area with bunker was nice as well. All in all, I like it and may be back.

Salmon sandwich was excellent. Waitstaff wonderful, wine mediocre

Magnolia Greens is fantastic for its convenience and accessibility, but the attitudes coming from the middle-aged pro shop crew are precisely why people find the game of golf to be stuffy and unwelcoming. Twice in a month guys have asked me to do this or that with my wardrobe while using the practice facility, not even on the course. Not once was I dressed inappropriately or outside of what you’d find at any public track. I worked from home all summer on one of the Azalea holes and regularly saw people in t-shirts, soccer jerseys, etc. I give this course and teaching pros a fair amount of business each summer and it’s just a bummer to be spoken to like I’m in middle school violating an already ambiguous dress code.

Friendly staff, course is very well maintained. Course is interesting yet not too challenging. Short drive from downtown makes it my go-to course in the Wilmington area

Terrible management. Golf staff is treated horribly and rip off customers. Plenty of other great courses in the area. Don't waste your time or money at Magnolia Greens.

Awesome course with 3 sets of 9 holes, wide fairways, well manicured, super friendly staff, reasonably priced fees and a fantastic restaurant on site! Will definitely visit again!
