They didn't talk down to me, push any big upsells, or try to scare me (all of which I've previously experienced as a woman with other mechanics).

I do NOT recommend this repair shop.I took a car there on the recommendation of a friend. The car kept stalling, sometimes as if a dead battery, other times with sporadic symptoms, but the problem was clearly electrical. These skilled mechanics checked the alternator and the battery, both of which checked out fine per their report. They kept the car for a week, drove it to lunch, did "all they could" to find the problem, but could not. I paid the $40 invoice and took the car home. Since then, during the first week after the invoice was paid, it shut down twice in traffic, endangering my daughter's safety.With the help of a qualified mechanic, it was determined that the stud clamp on the positive battery cable was defective. The condition of the clamp was not a secret; it was in a condition of maybe a 2 on a scale of 10. It's main problem was that it was extremely loose and visibly shot. It was loose enough to tilt and turn, and you could remove it by hand. Its interior diameter was approximately 1/16" larger that the battery stud.Whereas a child with a go-kart could have diagnosed this in 15 minutes, this shop apparently "checked my battery" yet missed the straightforward problem and simple and inexpensive solution.

This place is absolutely the best. I happened to have a flat tire near this location, in my new electric vehicle. The owner searched and found a tire (only one in town), went to pick it up, replaced the bad tire and drove me back to the shop, so that, I could get my car back.
