terrible. workers were rude, barely even acknowledged anyone. they "fixed" my dads car and then it ran even worse than before. they didn't even test drive it.

Paul and the guys know how to fix cars not just Ford's or Chevys but Jaguars and Saabs yes they do all that work and one thing that means more than anything else is their trust and integrity they will stand by they're quotes and give a respectable price...they're the only ones that will touch my cars

Had a simple issue with a work truck. Was about to go to an autoparts store and fumble thru parts, pulled in here because they’re always busy and figured they could at least answer some questions. Just started their lunch break when i showed up, every man in the shop helped and showed me exactly what i needed. Super solid employees and owner. If they were close to home id take all my vehicles there.

I smelled gas, and at the closest stop I realized it was my vehicle!! Obviously, I was freaking out! A friend, who happened to be nearby, said let’s go over there… these guys were right next door and put it up on their lift at closing time on a Friday night to see what the problem was!!! It turns out a critter had chewed a chunk out of my gas line! They started work on Monday and I had it back before the holiday, even with supply chain issues (it was a little more than just the gas line). The owner made a special trip to pick me up himself when it was done, even though he had holiday preparations to get to! They understood that I wanted to call my usual trusted mechanic first… to see how backed up he was, and wrote down information for me to tell him before I decided to have them do the work (and save a lengthy tow). The final price was right in line with what my usual guy told me “good guys” would charge. I’m very happy with their service and glad to know about a quality place so close to home. They also took the time to talk with me over the phone and explain things. Thank you Eric and Dwayne! No hesitations with taking your vehicle to these guys! A lady next door at the BP also told me they did good work on her vehicle too!

Started with Eric when he was at Asheville Chevrolet and when he opened his own shop, we went there. We moved to Raleigh area in 2017 but are back in town visiting. Guess where I am taking our car for service? That's 17 years of service McMahan has given our vehicles.If there was a 6 star rating, I would give them that. What is peace of mind worth to you? There will always be someone cheaper, if that's all that matters to you. But, if you are looking for value (you get what you pay for) and peace of mind, then look no further.I am adding an update today Oct1,2021. Someone posted "no dates on reviews" asking if McMahan Auto Service was still open/in business. Well, just spoke with them today and happy to report they are still in business providing professional, courteous, and timely service at a competitive price.
