The folks here are the most kind and helpful individuals. I’ve sourced many of my car parts through them, and all of them have worked impeccably. Their prices are unbeatable, which is always a plus. It’s quite a long way from my house, but I’ll happily go out of my way to pay them a visit over any other auto shop. I highly recommend this business; I would rate them more than 5 stars if possible.

I was curious about a rebuild on a EJ 251 that had a rod knock in my car. I met them at the shop and talked with them with my concerns. I have a very mechanical back ground, but not with Subarus. They explained everything they would be doing and actually brought parts out of the stockroom to show me what would be going together. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They will take your money and give you a "brand new" motor that is a bunch of old parts that pours oil out and blame you for it. Their customer service stinks !!! I have tried 11 times to message them, called them 16 times, and left messages with no response , until finally they come to phone and cuss me out. Biggest joke of a business I've ever seen. Biggest rip off ever !!!

Contacted Automotive Maintenance and Performance about rebuilding an EJ 253 out of a 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i wagon. In the beginning there was great communication. Came up with a plan. Was given pricing etc. Set up appt to drop motor off. Dropped motor off Aug 5 was given a run down on services that were going to be performed. Went into the office and did paperwork. Left a deposit of 50% upfront. Was quoted a pick up 30-40 days. Pictures along the way.
