“Always get great service when I go here. I was short a dollar had a time with my card but they were all patient and kind even paid my taxes. 0.80 cents. I was embarrassed but they made it an ok experience inspire of. Thanks staff”
“I had to come here to get my Blenheim Ginger Ale Hot when I came to visit in October 2021 . I make it back to the Carolinas about every 3 years to visit family and friends and go to the mountains and Myrtle Beach . I was born in Laurinburg , but grew up in Bennettsville . I have lived in Las Vegas , Nevada since 1991 . We finally have a place there now that sells Blenheim Ginger Ale Hot , so I don't have to order it .During my vacation to the Carolinas back in September 2019 , they were playing upbeat Gospel Music in the grocery store , you know you're in the South . Guy calls on loudspeaker Mrs Karen to the front please . Oh yeah , we Country . Had to get some hot pork rinds too and Tom's potato chips .The store was clean and everyone was nice . The parking lot was good size and not too busy .”
“I bought 6 pork chops from deli this afternoon since that's all they had left. The guy acted like that was weird because they normally don't sell in bulk, he said. He weighed all of them in a Styrofoam container then supposedly boxed them up. I went through self checkout, scanning the box....21 dollars for the box of chops. Got home, there were only 5 pork chops in the box. Hmmmm.”
“I like the customer service from everybody they all my friends ?... Good Store to shop at great prices on different items but they all will look out some kind of way if u don't have enough at the time just to keep they customers happy...A+”
“Wheels on shopping carts should be checked and fixed regularly
Over 50% of the checkouts were not working on 7/29 - why? Checking out, self checkout and normal were backed up for 15 to 20 minutes”
“I love this grocery store. It's not the freak show of Walmart or Carly C's. We feel the atmosphere most of the time is calm, the store is clean, and the clerks are kind and friendly. However, today, we witnessed a lady carry two puppies into the store. "Are There Any Dog-Friendly Grocery Stores? No, there are no dog-friendly grocery stores in the United States. According to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), animals, including dogs, are not permitted in grocery stores or inside food establishments." And "The North Carolina Food Code states "live animals may not be allowed on the premises of a food establishment, except under several exceptions. Those exceptions include patrol dogs accompanying police or security officers in offices and dining, sales, and storage areas; sentry dogs in outside fenced areas, and SERVICE ANIMALS (not ESAs) accompanying persons with disabilities in areas that are not used for food preparation."
Everyone is so entitled, mgmt feels their hands are tired. However, there's a majority of other customers who aren't pushing the limits on appropriate grocery store behavior, and I hope I'm not out of line when I plead that Food Lion not allow itself to become another venue for a 'freak show'. We appreciate you and want your store to maintain integrity.”
