Stunning as always! The LLFB is a great place to visit no matter what month of the year. The volunteers do a great job of maintaining the bridge and every Christmas it is decorated so beautifully. Great for adults and children.Dog-friendliness: Small dog area and rainbow bridge

We found this at the last minute and so glad we stopped! What a wonderful idea for a decommissioned bridge! It's so beautiful meticulously maintained. Plus, the rainbow bridge for dogs was so touching.

This was a surprise find as we drove down 74A. Sometimes, roadside features are worth stopping at and this is one of them. Free but supported by donations. This old bridge has been turned beautiful but the addition of so many plants and unique decorations. Lots of time and care obviously goes into this place. There were so many little details we missed more than we saw, I'm sure. There was a cell phone audio tour but I didn't use it. This is appropriate for all ages and is really a site to see. The mere variety of plants alone is impressive, much less all the work, design and love.

Lake lure flowering bridge was absolutely beautiful. There are signs as soon as you get there with descriptions and guides. There are cute mailboxes painted there. There are also plenty of flowers with different colors and shapes. Each family of the flower has its own name and description. There are a lot of decorations, this is a great place for taking pictures. Taking a walk with the family and enjoying nature. If you’re looking for a spot to explore this is the place.Dog-friendliness: I saw dogs ? on leashes

This is a lovely little pathway with all and every sort of thing that can grow, a must see for nature and/ or flower lovers. It's free and worth the little drive to my way of thinking! Would be nice if the water fountain worked. There's also a free book pickup or exchange on site. View of the water is nice.

We hadn't visited the garden in years and it had been expanded and developed so wonderfully with so much creativity and love. We were very moved by the rainbow bridge section for people to honor their beloved pets who had passed. They put many lovely little seating areas tucked into quiet magical places throughout the garden. It was child and dog friendly. Was happy to see such a variety of ages and people of many backgrounds visiting the garden.

This place is completely amazing!!! It is absolutely gorgeous and so romantic!!! Definitely a place to bring your significant other!!! I loved walking around the garden and over the bridge!!! It is so well thought out!!! There are nooks and crannies all over the place to get secluded!!! It is sometimes hard to imagine that just a few feet from you are people passing!!! The scenery is so tranquil!!! I would be volunteering here if I lived close enough!!! Go check them out!! Remember that they subsist entirely off of donations and volunteer workers! If you love your time there, please be sure to give a donation to keep it alive!!!

This is one of the most unique and beautiful gardens we have ever seen! The many different flowers and plants that have been planted here is just stunning. We especially enjoyed the painted book rocks, they were wonderful to see each book and it's uniqueness. Definitely a must see place when you come to Lake Lure, SC or even if you're just passing through. Plus, the gardens are only about 15 minutes away from Chimney Rock State Park. Also a must see place! We will be back again to visit!!

Cute and fun spot to walk through when you're in chimney rock. Great for kids, especially Mr. McGregors garden where they can dig in the dirt and "plant" and "pick" plastic vegetables. My toddler LOVED it and I enjoyed it too!

Great stop while visiting Lake Lure. The flowers and layout are very good. Love all the different flowers in such a small area. The rainbow bridge is also very special. Loved everything about the place. Thank you to the volunteers that maintain it.Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly.

The Flowering Bridge is a wonder! I could have spent hours here. Everything is so cute and thoughtfully placed. We stumbled upon the Flowering Bridge in 2013 when it was just getting started and recently made it back. It was amazing to see how it has grown. You can tell the folks in charge really care about creating a welcoming space. There is a rainbow bridge for dog collars of pups who have passed on, a stick lending library, Peter Rabbit themed area, a little free library, and so much more. Lots of photo ops!!Restrooms: Portapotty at one end of the bridgeDog-friendliness: Doggie area with water bowls, sticks, and even a fire hydrant!

This place was so cute!! So beautiful and unique also. Our kids loved it and so did we. They loved trying to find all the painted books, the rabbit scavenger hunt. The flowers are all so pretty, and the decorations are just so awesome. The volunteers who designed the different sections are amazing! One was a beach with sea shells put together & the way it was made was just so cool. They did another water one with the garden stones. I just really thought it was a cool place to see when passing through.Restrooms: They have a port-a potty to use, it seems well kept up and cleaned often.Dog-friendliness: They have a whole section dedicated to the passing of your pets.

One of the most beautiful outdoor areas I’ve ever been to in my life, period. I’ve been to Lake Lure several times throughout my life and never knew this was here, so shoutout to my friend for wanting to go here again for her birthday and bringing me along for the ride!Great photos despite the blaring SC heat. We had tons of fun!Dog-friendliness: We saw several happy dogs on leashes on our voyage through the Flowering Bridge.

The feeling I had when I visited this place…I can’t describe. I was overwhelmed with all the love I felt. And sadness at the same time, not really sad but the spirit of this place feels amazing. The flowers are beautiful and the weeping cedars are awesome. But the rainbow bridge is my all time favorite place. All the lost puppies??Restrooms: They have port-a-potty’s in the parking lots. Not really a bathroom but good place to go if you really have to. I will say they were pretty clean compared to most I’ve seen.Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly! Just keep them in your control.
