The Board and school leadership at LLCA is professional and ethical always putting students first. The staff is highly supported and works towards continuous improvement with professional development and accountability strategies in place. The School Director, Ms Cohen, has an open door policy and welcomes parents as well as all stakeholders a voice to be heard. The curriculum is content rich, coherent, and cohesive. High school students are offered dual enrollment opportunities at Isothermal Community College. The options offered in the Pathways Program allow students to earn a career ready AA Degree or two years of college credit, which may place them as juniors in college upon graduation. A great school. I’d recommend a visit.

Our son has attended LLCA for the last four years and we have been very happy at the school. He has had small class sizes and caring teachers. We have always found the school to be a happy and welcoming place.

Lake Lure Classical Academy has been a great place to send my kid's. The teacher's and staff are very accommodating to both student's and parent's alike. They go above and beyond to make sure that my kids needs are met both inside and outside of the classroom. I would highly recommend LLCA for any parent to send their child or children as they compassionate and caring. Thanks you LLCA for the job you do.

You get out what you put into any organization. Commited parents and dedicated teachers and staff have created a real sense of community at the school. The difficulties of 2020 highlighted why this school is more flexible and responsive than most. The students are more than another set of statistics and treated with individual respect. LLCA has provided the utmost care in my children's education and personal growth for which my wife and I are very appreciative. Furthermore we feel that we have a say and if something isn't working then we can actually be apart of helping make it better.

My children started LLCA 2019/2020 school year, my son as a 6th grader my daughter in kindergarten. We have been very pleased with the curriculum and staff. With the challenges that 2020 brought I have felt that LLCA has went above and beyond to offer in-person learning as much as possible.

My girls before we came to Lake Lure Classical were struggling to make a c and we're coming home crying almost daily from school. They have been in Lake Lure almost 3 years now and their grades greatly improved, along with their outlook towards school in general. It has made a world of difference in their lives and for that we are forever grateful. This year has been a struggle, for everyone because of covid, we chose to do total remote and the teachers have gone far and beyond to make this transition as easy as possible. I couldn't imagine them going anywhere else, thank you teachers and staff for going far and beyond to make this a great place for our children.

Both my girls switched here from the local public school system. I felt the local school system was just pushing them onto the next grade regardless if they reached their educational needs. The teachers are very communicative at LLCA and are eager to answer your questions! Compared to the local school system I’d rather my kids go to a small group setting and away from the mainstream. As any school there’s room for improvement and the only thing I wish they could “change” is add a school cafeteria or catering service for lunches.

My child has been in LLCA for 3 years now. From the start, her grades improved drastically after she transferred from the public school system. The teachers are amazing at keeping the kids motivated, and to try their best. The dual enrollment is wonderful - my daughter is taking high school and college courses at the same time, and she is on track to graduate high school with an associate's degree, giving her a great advantage when applying to the best colleges. The staff is very supportive, and my daughter has always received the help she needs. This school did an amazing job in the beginning of the pandemic. They were up and running with online classes in no time! I have seen a tremendous difference since my daughter transferred from the public school system to this school. The school is small enough so that the teachers and staff know each student, and this reduces bullying and other problems considerably compared to any public school that my daughter has attended. Their teachers are highly motivated, and able to motivate the children to do their best. I warmly recommend this school!
