I initially found this business via Yelp and first spoke with Mary Grace for my appointment. Upon arrival on the day of the appointment, she was already doing someone's hair but I have to admit that she was able to still get someone to assist and checked on me continuously! Super kind! My final service was completed by the manager who was a gem, professional, kind, offered excellent guidance on hair maintenance, and was also very gracious! I will absolutely be back! The ambience is professional, positive, and you are made to feel as though they truly care about the quality of your hair and not like one of those shops where you are just a number! I highly recommend and will be a regular from now on!

My daughter went in for a basic wash and blowout. After her hair was washed, she immediately noticed a change in her hair texture and curl pattern. She sent me a picture, and I could see that her curls were looser and relaxed compared to what her curls normally look after a wash.
My daughter asked the stylist if she put a relaxer in her hair, and she said no, conditioner. My daughter continued to have her hair blown out. Today, almost a week later, she washed her hair only to find her hair damaged. Her curls did not return the same, and the texture is completely different. She is in tears. She cut her hair ( 2" from her scalp) 4 years ago in middle school to have healthier in high school. To date, her hair grew back to shoulder length. Now, she has to cut her hair again and not by choice. Do you know how devastating this for a teenage girl?!
My daughter's had 2 blowouts prior to this one, over the past couple of years for special occasions, and this has never happened.
A relaxer/texturizer must have been mixed in with the conditioner to loosen her curls to make it more manageable for the blowout or too many passes of heat.
Although we are very upset and disheartened, this review is not to bash the salon or the stylist but only to bring awareness.
We chose this salon based on the reviews and beautiful images of other customers' hair photos. Mind you, her blowout looked wonderful, but her hair is now damaged.

My daughter and I are absolutely thrilled that we found Vis a Vis (Marta)! Marta promotes healthy hair and does not mind teaching her clients. Prices are very reasonable. She and the other employees made me and my daughter feel welcome as new clients. The Salon is beautiful inside and very clean. I absolutely recommend Vis a Vis!!!

Martha and Sylvia are absolutely amazing. Their professionalism and personality is exceptional. For the past few months I have been getting my hair done weekly and my hair has grown tremendously and healthy. Martha is all about hair care and she loves her clients dearly. The most Amazing thing about Martha is she’s a true woman of God. I pray God will continue to bless her and her business abundantly. I highly recommend her services, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I got a wolf haircut from Martita and she did a magnificent job! Absolutely in love with my hair and have received so many compliments on the cut. Everyone was so kind and it felt like a welcoming environment. Definitely going back!

I'm was a 1st timer here; it was recommended.Wait was minimal, and I had the pleasure of having Maria Del Pilar service me. I'm 110% satisfied.Immediately upon entering, I felt a good aura. Within minutes, I realized these women love the Lord. Everyone was very pleasant.
