I admire the integrity of the people here! They're trustworthy because they're geuine and HONEST. Excellent service - both for your vehicle and for you as a customer.My car was there for issues relating to the spark plugs. I asked an employee, Bobby, if they could check the entire vehicle while they had it, just to be sure everything else was in working order.An acquaintance of mine who used to work in auto repair chastised me, saying, "if you ask a mechanic if there are other problems, he will ALWAYS find other problems..."Well, it was checked thoroughly and there weren't any other issues or areas for concern according to Bobby. And I wasn't even charged for having them look it over, either!I have recommended this place to absolutely anyone I know (especially to that acquaintance ?).

I have been noticing an odor in my car that smelled to me like meat on the grill lol. A friend checked the oil level a few days ago and it was very low after having an oil change just 2,000 miles ago. That's when we saw white smoke coming from behind the heat shield and some oil around the bolts. We knew there was an oil leak. Decided to bring the car to Tyrolf Automotive since they had so many good reviews. Dropped it off this past weekend and received a call this morning from the owner Bobby. He explained the problem and exactly what it would cost to fix.The price was very reasonable. Had the car ready in just a few hours. My husband passed away recently, and he would handle all these things, so it means so much to be able to bring my car somewhere I can trust. Such nice people, absolutely no upsell and fair prices. Sherri helped me with making the appointment and gave me directions and was as pleasant as she could be. I highly recommend giving them your business, I certainly will continue to give them mine!

Honest and principled service. Came in for a brake job. Mechanic examined car and Tyrolf gave a quote. When I came in to pick up the car, front rotors also had to be replaced and he forgot to add labor for the rear. Fixed the whole brake system and stuck to original estimate. Tyrolf and his techs do a very good job. They'll even put on the hub caps the right way so that the valve stem is freely accessible even though I brought my car into the shop with some of my hub caps installed incorrectly. I do notice those things. To date, Tyrolf's shop is the only shop in Knightdale where I have NEVER had an issue related to the auto repair work [other shops have 1) removed my front left splash shield when performing an AC compressor replacement and not replaced it, exposing my serpentine belt to water during wet road conditions, 2) overfilled one of our vehicle's coolant reservoir tanks so that coolant was leaking, 3) improperly torqued one of my vehicle's inner tie rods such that there was play in the front left wheel]. Tyrolf's shop has always done the job right, and when it involves a service that the shop does not perform, has always recommended to us competent businesses that can address those needs. Five star shop for sure.Services: Electrical repair

The best auto repair place in NC. I first took my car to PEP Boys and they lied about what was wrong with my car and gave me an outrageous price to repair it. But my friend told me about Tyrolf Auto and I haven't cared about driving 40 min to get my car fixed. They are honest. If it isn't broke, they won't say it is.Services: Electrical repair

For years I have only trusted the dealership with our Jeep Grand Cherokee. After several bad experiences with our regular dealership we decided to look for an alternative shop. We decided to try Tyrolf Automotive in Knightdale. Bobby and his team are outstanding! They went above and beyond to help us identify the issue and fix it in a timely manner.
